this might be stupid, i can't tell anymore.

Why ban the ones that aren't obviously trolling?

Teaching is interesting.

Because there are set forum rules *yikkity yak yikkity yak*.
Also, dupe accounts.
Tyrants posing as internet users.
Telemarketers.
Starting of redundant threads.
So on, so forth.

Why the bans? A good reason is simplification. INTPs are thinkers noted for asking questions. If the answers are too complex to handle without going through a lot of redundant effort that creates a nuisance. It is simpler to ban if answers reflect on a desire not to address the difficult issues which INTPs happen to like.

Redundant threads for example are questionably redundant. An argument is a thread is redundant if it repeats something. How much repetition constitutes repetition to whom? Is a new person who asks an old question in a new way guilty? Is a new way really an old way? Arguments can be presented. Can a ban be argued if reasons for the ban have already been given?

Some banned members are like beetlejuice. You just speak their name three times, and they resurrect in new form from the dead.

He could use his usernames to communicate messages by getting repeatedly banned too. It's strange he hasn't been doing that already. I hope the next instance of BAP is called Iwontgiveup.

Honestly I'm impressed, he took my advice. (and by took my advice read my post) Stating that all his dupes so far had names in them and followed the same style so they were obvious to spot..

A shadow cabal of senior members have a ritual of banning one person per week to "till the soil" as they say but mainly it's just absue of power for their own twisted satisfaction, they put it to an anonymous vote and the poster who recieves the most votes against them is the next to be banned, I don't know exactly who the cabal is comprised of I only I know I must speak out before they
