Not sure what happened, nor what kind of ads were there ---- ads, like most of unrestrained capitalism as an economic system are fairly evil, and also deeply silly * ---- but I've replaced the vbulletin files up to the latest patch, upgraded and done maintenance.

Not clear yet. If was a sql injection these things hide in the oddest places: however Securi gives an all-clear ( out-dated version refers to us being 3.8.x and not 4.0 or 5.0, but 3.8 is still being patched ):

I rather think it was a sql injection that hijacked admin status --- it could have been a direct hack from someone, but there have been a lot of vbulletin exploits recently:

One wonders what is on these guys minds: Trying to make an impression? Trying to destroy something? An accident while they were playing?

Let's let one of them write their own thread here ... explain themselves. I'd like to see them defend their position. See how long they last before they're ejected. Maybe they would argue freedom of speech ... until they learn they are destroying the freedom of speech for those they would like to influence thus removing the very targets they are after.

Fukyo banned that bitch because Catatonic was apparently bragging about trolling on this forum in another forum. I was never against soft trolling or Catatonic to begin with but the verdict's been handed down and it's beyond the abilities and clout of this lowly member to jangle protest.

Such a nuisance. I would never have noticed them if not told, adblock makes the internet actually usable. In the end, it was quite easy to remove them, though it took a while to find.

Considering the default theme here is black with white text, I may justly be accused of hypocrisy in frequently getting annoyed at many dark sites which can barely be read; but... "More Light" is not always welcome even at a deathbed.
