I must say, I seriously love doing my homework.

Not only do I feel like I've accomplished something after completing a homework task, I also feel smarter. It's as if my brain is a sponge and I have just absorbed a ton of soapy knowledge.

If I was a seasponge, I would say that the knowledge tasted delicious.

Another benefit of me doing my homework is it helps me on tests. The information contained in my homework tasks is also featured on the tests I take.

By doing my homework I do better on tests.

Previously as an immature being I used to just waste all my time reading interesting shit on wikipedia and other websites but now I realize, that was all shit. Not useful to me whatsoever.

Now I do my homework, and let me tell you: I love it.

How about you? What are your opinions on homework, why do you do it, why don't you do it. How long have you done it. How do you feel about the American Schooling system?

I'll learn about anything non-school related. It's funny how I'm more knowledgeable in random things then the stuff I'm suppose to be learning. Why is this? Well, I like to learn interesting things, not the elements of the periodic table. So of course whenever I'm suppose to do my homework, I get distracted and end up not doing it until about 12 that night. I just think it's a drag and not helpful to much extent. Some teachers just give homework to give homework, that's the bad stuff. However, some do give homework for a good reason. That's the kind of homework I don't find myself complaining to do.

Listen son. It's extremely important for YOU to do YOUR HOMEWORK!

If you don't do YOUR homework, how will YOU ever be PREPARED FOR YOUR EXAMS!

YOU'll Flunk OUT BOYO and YOU'll make absolutely nothing of your life.

Interesting thanks for your response. I was once in a similar boat but I have since realized doing homework for the sake of doing homework has it's own benefits.

1. It strengthens MY ability to focus on a given task.
2. It puts me in the mindset of "DO HOMEWORK"
3. If I ever end up on Jeopardy, I'll be prepared.

Throughout highschool I procrastinated until the last second of the night to do my homework and this only set me back more. I wound up going to school dead-tired with shitty homeword. This proved detrimental to me.

SO NOW I DO MY HOMEWORK!!! and you know what, it's not so bad!!!!!

Having a laptop next to me, open to the wonders of Google and Wikipedia probably doesn't help. I try sometimes, but it's just too easy to get distracted.

The lack of sleep has definitely affected my life style (taking naps after school everyday).

Maybe I'll try to do my homework earlier. But I probably won't.

Right behind you, sipping tea.
... I like doing homework. =)

It's a chance to read, write, analyze, critique, organize, and make lists.

... Of course, I'm a total procrastinator. But I still like homework; I just leave it 'til the last minute, for the most part.

... So you're not alone.

My brother! I welcome your words with open arms and blackened full eyes! Serotonin flood my brain! A fellow man who knows my pain....

Thank ya brother!

I too enjoy the chance to read, write, analyze, critique, organize, but also RELAX! There is no stress involved in homework if I or One does no procrastination!

Keep up the good work brother :king-twitter:

OK, let me see if I deciphered this correctly:

"They are keeping me prisoner. I have no food left and they're threatening to chop off my foot if I don't give them your names. Please save me!"

We're coming Jar, as soon as we read one more Wikipedia article. And watch that movie. And finish proving the existence of God. Or was it non-existence? Anyway, help will be on the way in no time, don't worry.

I enjoy doing homework, it gives me the much needed time for me to think and learn about what I'm studying.

Something about Alisa D said. My mind is above such petty things such as homework.

I wish I studied more in school...

I'm not sure, but it's rather chilly.
I hate homework.

In my particular corner of the U.S., any and all homework is simply busywork, time spent repeating the same information that's been drilled into your brain from two years ago.

I enjoy studying. That's learning. Homework, not so much.

Veh. Not telling.
Homework is livable until repetition kicks in, where questions repeat themselves in different forms. *sigh* I guess homework is okay, but I rather spend my invest time in other projects or crafts.

I also love taking out the trash and doing the dishes. Nothing makes me feel more accomplished than getting tedious shit done. I can definitely understand where you are coming from. I'm supposed to set the table in a couple minutes and I'm greatly looking forward to it. I hope this weekend I'll be allowed the privilege of cutting the grass and cleaning the bathrooms. I think you have many in common and should become great many friends, tank you.

I can completely relate to the : I love to learn EVERYTHING.......but school work. If it does not involve spelling (I really should learn that), or any random sort of math I will most likely never use, or chemistry, then I'm ready to listen. Especially if you are willing to teach me anything related to computers, programming languages, and/or networking protocols. Yes, I am a computer geek in high school. I have half the teacher's computers under my control and no, I have yet to get a date. Oh well.
