Greetings everyone!
I am, as some people around me have told me, the perfect fence-sitter between INTP and ISTP. Most INTP aspects apply to me - I often remark on (somewhat non-sequitur) details that others miss; I attempt to speak in the most correct manner possible and notice when others do not, I am in good standing with many people, although those I consider friends are a small group. On the other hand, though, I don't like planning and my experience has taught me that I usually can get by just via improvisation, and I am pretty decent at smooth-talking people (in order to prolong deadlines, for example).
But in the end, I feel more at home with the INTP archetype - judging from several descriptions, it's just a better fit.
As for my real-life background, I am 22 years old and currently in the process of finishing up my B.A. in Sinology.
In any case, I am looking forward to participating in this forum and reading about your experiences as INTPs.
Cheers,
Monsterfurby
