Okay This is a WIP. I am just going to paste and copy the sites listed on the two threads already dealing with ADD... Please add (ambiguity?) any other sites that are relevant or whatever...

Have any of you tried Adderall? I've heard it does miracles for ADD.

I want Adderall but my psychiatrist gave me Concerta XL. Extended release Ritalin, essentially. That said, the Concerta seems to work pretty well, anyway.

Stimulants have a funny effect on people with ADHD, given that methylphenidate (Ritalin/Concerta) is a stimulant chemically similar to amphetamines with effects more similar to cocaine and it calms people with ADHD down - stops them from getting hyperactive, at least. Tobacco (metabolised both as a stimulant and as a depressant) is quite helpful for dealing with the symptoms, too, but unfortunately it causes cancer.
