Thanks I found it when I was about 16, it was entitled something along the lines of Staring Contest between the Grim Reaper and the White Rabbit. I've always found it fascinating.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. I first thought about it when I first posted, which is when I originally looked it up. I also thought extravert felt wrong for some reason. But I noticed it tends to be more common in MBTI text and writings, which I put down to a possible attempt at differentiating between the standard definition of extroversion and the MBTI definition. It really needs a different word, but who knows.

Linsejko, I'm curious as to what makes you say extrovert is correct and extravert is a spelling error?

Heh, I'm no good at eloquently accepting compliments, but do know that I sincerely appreciate it. Being held in high regard by someone I admire is...well, satisfying. ^^;

Hmm...nostalgia is a strange concept to apply to the internet, now that I think about it. Sites and forums I frequented only a few years ago seem like ancient history now, more so than my old schools, even though they're parallel chronologically...hum. Makes me wonder if we'll even remember this place.

And I did have a nasty habit of formatting every post in a specific (generally unnecessary) way, with colors and symbols to decorate them... It seems that's the only thing that's kept my name remembered around here...but I suppose it's better than being a complete stranger, so I'll take it.

I actually went through a Hebrew phase a couple years back, and learned the alphabet, and how to read it, but didn't get much further. Still I think it's a beautiful language, and plan to take it up seriously again in the future. :3

about your death obsession since you lost your faith: your body might die, but your influence will stay on earth. all you need to know is: how do you want to influence earth? stop dabbling, because you have limited time. heaven/paradise is not in the sky, you are supposed to manifest it on earth. those before you made it a hell, some actually did that and some let it happen because they looked at the fake afterlife only, your job to turn it around.

I read your entire post on your thread, and, though I already basically said it, I will say again that I do understand at least fairly accurately what you are saying. I have gone/am going through the same thing. Particularly:
1. The idea that God does not care about humans, at least individually.
2. Truth and pain vs. ignorance and bliss.

I'm not actually a nihilist. I identify more with absurdism. I'll say it this way: agnosticism is to gnostic atheism as absurdism is to nihilism.

I will respond to the two highlighted ideas in the next post.
