You're totally right on the lack of Se, btw. Strongly favor Si over Se. Se and Te are my two "in the basement" function scores. Sometimes I actively MAKE myself use Se -- just immerse myself in sensations (listening, looking at detail, existing). But I can't maintain it for long, I usually very quickly either start thinking about what I've just experienced (using Se for data rather than as something to live in) or I start comparing and remembering thoughts and feelings from past experiences that were relevant to the situation. I just can't focus on the typical immediate detail of Se for long.
I don't know how my ESFP kid does it, it's perplexing.
