Veh. Not telling.
So. What is the main goal everybody is trying to attain? It is difficult to believe that in another, say, 50 years, our lives will end abruptly and there is no more. I am not trying to say that death isn't a welcoming thing, but no matter what we do on Earth, does it matter? Our end is identical and won't change no matter what our actions are.

Concerning religion, is people making it all up because they can't except the fact our lives will end miserably?
1.) Christianity- You will be saved and live an eternal life with God if you believe in him.
2.) Islam- You will go to Heaven/ the Garden of Eden if you perform good deeds on Earth.
3.) Hindu- You will go to one of the six heavenly planes above the Earth.

It seems like man will become mentally lost if they lack a purpose, so does that mean man might of "created" the different religions to fulfill their need for a true purpose?
Perhaps???

I don't think religion was created to provide purpose. I think it grew out of a natural hierarchy inherited from our ancestors and mirrored in our primate relatives. That's why the gods tend to be super versions of ourselves, and worshiped - just as the dominant alphas and attractive females must be 'worshiped' and served in order to maintain safety, food and procreative privileges. In one study they found monkeys (of some sort, dunno which) chose staring at dominant or attractive monkeys over eating a banana, which was previously showed to be a highly prized option.

A smart/desperate monkey would parlay the gift of a banana into what he was dreaming about.

It's not a dream, really; I'd say the point isn't to fantasise, it's that monkeys with greater tendencies to idolise and worship have survived better over the years. So we have leaders, kings, celebrities, gods and generic hero-worship. Admiring and ingratiating yourself with strong people is a useful survival trait. So is conforming to established social structures. I guess Bieber fans just want to feel safe.

*edit
I'm not very sure what you're talking about snafu.
