Overall: Brings nothing new to the table, but confirms veracity of previous thoughts on Type.

  • [x] Toward an Empirically Sound and Radically Revised Type Theory (2012)
      • Principle 1: All individual human beings differ with their own personal identity and individuality formed by their own unique genetic, ontogenetic, epigenetic, and experiential background.
      • Principle 2: The individual MBTI® preferences are the fundamental unit of analysis for type theory.
      • Principle 3: The individual preferences are arranged as sets of complementary opposites.
      • Principle 4: The individual preferences are free to combine with each other and in any order.
      • Principle 5: The combination of individual preferences is additive rather than interactive.

      • Principle 6: The expression of psychological type is fundamentally contextual and situational.
      • Principle 7: MBTI® preference scores matter and indicate strength of preference.
      • Principle 8: Type dominance is a function of strength of preference and the dominant preference is simply the independently high-value preference.
The generality and lawfulness of type dominance.
      • Principle 9: These principles are not cast in concrete but are subject to change.
      • Worth a glance just for the tables and principles
  • [x] Expert Consensus Regarding Function-Attitudes (2012)
    • The primary result of this research is the identification of 72 such words and phrases, which we believe repre- sent the consensus of psychological type experts. These phrases and words may serve as the basis for future descriptions of Functional-Attitudes and/or serve the purposes of future research.
      • Interesting, to say the least -> Finding formal definition consensus for the functions
  • [x] Ethnic and Gender differences in Best-Fit Type (2011)
    • Rates of agreement were fairly comparable across all ethnic and gender subgroups as well. Essentially, neither eth- nicity nor gender played a substantial role in the verifi- cation of one’s true type
      • Basically, what the title says, worth a glance
  • [x] Using Type Related Teaching Tools to Improve Reading Comprehension (2011)
    • Big Fucking Surprise: Catering to people's individual needs can help them learn better!
  • [x] Refining Language of Type Descriptions (2010)
    • More precise language regarding types, worth a glance
  • [x] Intelligence Studies Students (2010)
    • The Intelligence Studies program at Mercyhurst College tends to attract individuals with preferences for Extraversion, Intuition, and Thinking. Using these data as a proxy, this study suggests that the professional field of intelligence analysis tends to attract these same types of individuals.
      • This lines up with Nardi's findings as well. Simply that programs in college tend to attract extroverts, thinkers, and inituitives (or, maybe even "Cater to")
  • [x] Asperger's Syndrome and Psychological Type (2006)
    • individuals diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome have type preferences of I_TP, whereas mothers of children with the disorder prefer E_FJ.
  • [x] Mistyping (2003)
    • SPs gave more opposite item responses on the S–N scale compared to other temperaments or S–N/J–P letter combinations. However, NF and NT, and NJ and NP letter groups were the ones most frequently misclassified on the S–N dichotomy. SPs were most frequently misclassi- fied on the J–P and E–I scales, whereas SJs were most frequently misclassified on the T–F scale and the E–I scale.
      • Conclusion: it is clear that the tests are inaccurate (big surprise)
  • [x] An Empirical Investigation of Jung's Psychological Types and Personality Disorder Features (2001)
    • Already being discussed here
