OK, going to try out a free SSL certificate for a few months.

If something doesn't work make it https://intpforum.com instead of http:/


And if it really doesn't work I'll uninstall it.

Well, it's on, and changed in the vbulletin settings as well as in CPanel where installed.

However much of the javascript is silly: but secure according to https://www.whynopadlock.com/check.php after changing Server Settings to use Google for
Use Remote YUI

It probably means checking plugins etc; so if that doesn't work, we'll revert...

Hmm, I had already added some FORCE SSL stuff to the .htaccess file. I looked at it again and saw the previous bits included http:// --- so I changed them to https:// and the smilies work again.

There's now a Comodo Positive SSL for 3 years.

Dinky little green logo on the left southwards.

If the server is in Germany the SSL thing may only work over there.

The hosts are in Cheyenne, Wyoming. URLJet. Best of all hosts.



... And not owned by E.I.G. like half of all [ American at least, then again Europe seems more geared to tiny VPS hosts ] hosting companies
