So I'm listening to a playlist of 50 songs. I'v just noticed I'v reached the second song in the playlist for the third time. I noticed it on the second time too, but decided I couldn't be bothered to change it. Now it's bothering me.

So, can anyone suggest any music that they're 99% sure that I or anyone else here has never heard of? I'm not giving anything of my preferred taste away here as it has nothing to do.

I'm half expecting the answer 'no' to appear a few times as how can you be that sure I or anyone else hasn't heard of it.

Which is fair; so I propose you make suggestions that you think that no one has heard of, then if anyone else has, then quote their suggestion with something dismissive :D

Have fun, impress me and yourselves.

In fact i collect obscure music.
But you can't have it, because by me giving it to you, it will become less obscure.
I put many man-hours into finding it.
You can't have a short-cut.
Just a tip. Harvest records.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Annd what you said's fair; and I want to comment, but I also don't want to comment. Because I also collect obscure.

I'm liking what I'm hearing so far though :)

Yeah, House Music, in the truest sense of the word can be the most refreshing music ever heard.

Here's a link to the (almost) complete catalogue of harvest records:

The reason why this is such a gold mine is because of the economic reasoning behind the existence of this label.
Their task was to sign the "next Beatles" or the "next Rolling Stones", so they signed a lot of bands which otherwise would have not seen the light of day.
I guess with Deep Purple and Pink Floyd this model payed off the initial investment.

Here's a link to EBB's "Wasa Wasa" album:
Edgar Broughton Band (1969) Wasa Wasa - YouTube

my favourites on this album are
"Why can't somebody love me?"
"Crying"
"Love in the Rain"

Yes, "Evening over the Rooftops" is a fine tune.
It reminds me of Eric Burdon.

I have been basically breast-fed with the whole classic rock and hippie culture.

Listening to Evening over rooftops.

Dig.

At what age did you get into the Edgar Broughton band? And how? I'm always interested in the culture of music.

edit: one more link before I go to Montreal. Three day bus trip. My absolute favorite- the only hypothetical.
