I've been meaning to draw a picture and give an explanation for my thoughts on the function, but I lack any artistic skill whatsoever when it comes to that...I still intend to, but I just wanted to share this:

I don't think it's by any means perfect at all, but some seem spot on.
I would have made the Se's more "vivid" than everyone else, as if the experience was more "there."
But something like this, the lens of experience of the functions.
I'll get around to mine eventually, I have a good grasp on "most" of them...I just can't draw :/
Regarding the Si-Ne vs Se-Ni, I imagine the Se's users senses are incredibly...vivid, and they are the most "IN THE MOMENT." Regarding Si, at least personally, it is almost a withdrawn feeling from the world, feeling from within ("subjective" if you will), the senses aren't nearly as vivid, it judges the information so passively and so slowly that it remembers it as the past once it finally goes through the senses.
If you think of it as a stick person picture, the Se user will have all the color on the outside (vivid color), while the Si user will have the dull color on the outside, and more vivid on the inside. But then what of Ni/Ne? Curious indeed, still the same interaction of Se/Si, but...different. heh.
Just thoughts
