Nurture vs. Nature is generally a good bet. The value to humanity of reductionist politics? Sheep or cows? Gun control? Mac vs. PC?

Totalitarianism/Eugenics are fun because they ultimately boil down to objectivity vs subjectivity and if you're really looking for a challenge, discuss genetic engineering of human children or population control methods.
