As a premise, would you say that it's plausible that most people who are Feeling types have been sheltered from the world in some way? If not being nueroatypical. As someone who I think compartmentalizes TOO well, it's something that I suspect is the case. Perhaps it's something that happens at the extremes regardless.
I disagree with that creative emotionality position. I think it has to do with lack of or extreme dependence on feelings as a crutch. As opposed to using the other functions when Feelings have little utility, which of course from some perspectives is rarely, but with other perspectives, Feelings are rarely useful as well.
