I never was an expert to be sure, but I am back and all I can think when I see all this theory on MBTI and Jugian theory is... Why?

Why put so much effort into something that is, lets face it, just as subjective as the latest fashions ([Edit] or Religion).

I see your point, but honestly people are too complex to encompass everything about someone. That is why I take MBTI/Jugian theory with a grain of salt.

Right. Well I'm a schizophrenic so I assume people are out to get me... Cherry and Bronto don't help my situation much. I actually think they just do it to push my buttons which makes them horrible people.

Bad experiences made me want to understand my circumstances with different people. Past that, I suppose I have a strong desire to understand that I can't help but think about this stuff from time to time, even if I know it's not very scientific or all that practically useful to me. I guess maybe I appreciate its ability to help me explore the subjective world that's a part of being human.

MBTI is a good way to turn negative thoughts about a person into good, productive ones. For me, if there's an annoying asshole talking to me, I always wonder what his type is so I can get into his thought process and be fascinated by that. I like the verification. It sometimes helps me take interest in people I normally wouldn't have. I like to see how people function.
