Hey, guys! I'm super anti-social and hate introductions, but I thought I should post one anyway because this seems like a neat forum and I may stick around for a bit.
I'm 25, a teacher, and live on the west coast. I come from a nice, hard-working, extroverted, Evangelical family, and I've always been a pain in their ass. I could read newspapers before I started kindergarten and always had this annoying habit of asking way too many questions. My mom swears that even as a baby I would glare at anybody who tried to baby talk me and looked at them like they were completely stupid. I learned about MBTI in grad school. We all had to find out our type. I was the only INTP in our program.
Anyhow, I like literature, history, philosophy, science, and whatever else catches my fancy on any particular day. I live in a mid-size town right now and people here are way too friendly and not nearly interesting enough. I'm hoping to get a new job and move this summer. I grew up here and I've been back since September. I'm something of an urban nomad. I love finding new places to explore on my own.
I stumbled upon this forum a few days ago. It seems like some cool conversations go on around here. I'm hoping I can join in. Nice to meet you all
