I like to read books about things. They are way more interesting than books about boring old people. Here are some of my favorite topics I've read a book on. Essentially each book could be titled "The History of_____"

Money
Dirt
Glass
Blacksmithing
Ducks
Economics
Longitude
Math

What are some of your favorites?

Are we just supposed to
list any fiction book, or
things specifically referenced
as a "biography"?

I read non-fiction constantly, but the titles tend to blur...one of the side-effects of having a used bookstore in one's garage. I enjoy them all and don't really have any favorites per-se...the most enjoyable title I'd pick from the last couple months worth of reading would be a book called Nuclear Landscapes, though that involved less reading and more gazing in amazement at photographs...fun as well.
