I thought it would be fun to do a little thought experiment. There are a couple of threads in the forum dedicated to finding out the more true nature of people. The best way I know to do this is ask them "If you could describe your life using movie or book terms, what would it be? A comedy, thriller, mystery, horror, drama...

Now picture this.

You're in a bright lit room, with five doors, each leading to their own inner room. You look to your left, one room is illuminated in a bright white light, from inside you can hear many voices whispering, the sound of feet shuffling on a wooden floor, and laughter emitting from within. To its right, another door, this one dimly lit in a green hue, a sweet smelling fragrance wafting from under its cracks. There are no sounds except for a faint ticking sound and a hypnotic aura that seems to draw you to it. The next door has no sound, no sights, nothing but a scratch mark on the wood reading "Hello?" To the right yet another door, with colorful paint splattered on its frame, purples and pinks, oranges and reds. There is dancing and music, and everything about it tells you there is nothing but joy on the other side. Now you come to the final door. This door is different, in that you cant quite make it out. You touch it and find that the door is rough and yet smooth, small and yet large, faint yet clear.

Which door do you enter?

I'd inspect the last door. Not necessarily open it, but I'd certainly put off going to the party to further investigate something I experience as novel and contradictory.

look at flag
the colorful right hand door with music first. then if i can the one with the sweet fragrance(this choice might be reversed depending on situation). the last door i;ll try last, but agree with Hado that I will definitely be curious enough about such an oddity to give it a decent appraisal.

I loudly knock on the first and fourth doors, then hide behind the fifth.

I'd either stay in the room I was in already, or pick the Green hue, with fragrance because Archangel Raphael emits green healing light and I want to be part of that.

If there were no laughter or shuffling, I'd have picked the white light room, because it represents self enlightenment, but I did not like shuffling feet, that sounds like drugged people (who shuffles their feet unless they are heavily drugged?) And laughter often means ego or something twisted. I'd have to hear the laughter to know if its good or not. And that giddy echoey childrens lonely laughter makes me think of lost childrens spirits that could be trapped in that room.

No to the overly colorful paint, too busy.
I'd go with cool, calm, soothing green, no sounds.

Where's the exit door? LOL. These all kind of creep me out for some reason... maybe it's the way you worded it. I think the 4th door might be the safest, but you never know with lots of extraverting going on haha!
