writing lyrics (science fictiony in nature), need some sources of inspiration/help

So I'm in a band, and I've decided I want the lyrics of one of our songs to be about the multiverse, and what happens when universes collide with one another. So, I think that I should actually know more than I do to write about this subject. Any good articles on the concept of a multiverse? Also more sci-fi fantasy sources of inspiration are appropriate too

Yeah I remember that song, though I've never really paid attention to the lyrics come to think of it. Thanks, but definitely looking for inspiration from literature if anyone knows of some good literature. The song is going to be very different than that one for sure.

That song is pretty cool Warryer, I'll have to find more of that band's stuff.

Iron Maiden I definitely count as an inspiration, but I don't think I've heard that particular song before.

Good luck with your song! I would love to hear it once you and your band finish it. The concept of multiverses sounds like really good topic for a song
