Just more randomness in a bid to meet new peeps, i play wow , im a casual player and im not an addict lol just thought id add that for flavor, im on Sunstrider mainly with my warrior Yodon,

Also, I'm taking a break from WoW until cataclysm hits...I'm so sick of ICC.

I used to play WoW quite frequently. I had 4-5 80s (it's been some time since I played, I'm uncertain) on Turalyon. I've found the game to be descending into a grind-gear fest that I stopped after playing since the release date.

Raids are the most fun part of the game, imo.
But the last two raids have sucked. ToC was a joke, and ICC is such a lolfest with the stupid 30% buff. Supposedly they're going to make raid content tougher in Cataclysm, and tweak class mechanics so that there's more "diversity", but I'm not holding my breath.
WoW isn't hard to play. It's really more of a social gathering than anything else for me.

Indeed, raids are easy now. I can't see Blizzard making the game more difficult, because then the game would lose its attractiveness. I rather wished at times that Pre-BC (Vanilla WoW, apparently) was never advanced beyond because of its difficulty *cough* AQ40. The game makes me rather irritated now that it's so easy.

Sigh...I never played vanilla, or even BC. I started just after WotLK came out.
Still, I'm glad they did away with the 40man raids, simply because...well, people suck. This whole summer, my guild struggled to scrape together a just decent 15 other players to run ICC (since we had a solid 10man group), and it was miserable. There just weren't enough decent players (with the game being so easy, you'd think it would be simple, right? Nope. People can't even button mash correctly.)
One change I'm looking forward to in Cataclysm is the de-emphasis on 25man raids, actually. I mean, with the same loot from 10man and 25man raids, the goddamn snobby 25man guilds won't be the most impressive players due to gear. The difficulty of the game should be from the actual content, not the task of gathering a stupidly high number of competent, dependable players.
Shrug. I have high expectations for Cata, which is probably a bad thing, but I'm hoping it'll work out in terms of harder content, both raid and dungeon.
