matter or substance made of scattered protons and neutrons that are not attached or glued to each other

FYI

elements are differentiated by how many protons, change the number of protons and you get a different element

isotopes are differentiatied by how many neutrons, change the number of neutrons and you get a different isotope

law of chemistry says that

mass and elements cannot be created and destroyed

you cannot change one element or atom into another (without alot of pain and energy like adding protons or splitting atoms), elements are fixed

there are first 20 elements that universe is based on (simplified periodic table and ignoring dark stuff matter)

these two statements seemed wrong on many levels.

nuclear reactions create elements, chemical reactions create compounds

the total energy is always the same

matter and energy are convertible

positive mass can be created from nothing

otherwise it would not explain why the universe has it

chemical elements are just like legos.

the problem with chemical laws is that:

1st it is hard to change to nucleus of an atom

2nd and one cannot create more atoms out of nothing
