I'm curious as to how far we can go back ( members here, not everyone in general ).

Coudn't date mines but I remember eating my first sunny side egg with my mother and not knowing what to do with the liquid part because she didn't told me to wait for the toasts. I remember being fine without clothes and feeling uncomfortable and too hot in them, and then after a while of being clothed most of the time feeling cold if I wasn't. I didn't like being trapped in my baby bed and I vaguely remember I could think in phrases before being able to speak and be understood, wich frustrated me a lot.

What about you ?

Edit : Oooh I made a mistake in the title :( My bad :(

It is kind of strange that I have point where before it I don't remember while being in consensually mode anything.
I was in my living room with my family,I looked at them and thought "this is my father, this is my mom, this is my brother?sister?(not sure I thought about my brother) and there is also uncles, grandma"
I didn't "know" them in my consensually mind, more of from intuition.
The only things before that are a few dreams(near the timeline,at 4-5 age)
Something about a cat and a necklace candy.
Other one about the food in the kindergarten.
There might be another one I don't remember that I remembered.

Trying to figure out why I have a start point and what the hell have I done before that ever since.

I can remember suddenly coming to, while in a van. We were parked on a hill, somewhere in San Francisco or Vallejo. Inside the car were my grandparents (father's side) and I think maybe an aunt, I think my mother was there too but not sure. They were talking... Like someone else mentioned, I sort of just registered "that's my grandma.. that must be grandpa"; etc. It was interesting. I think my mother went inside some building and we were waiting for her to get back. I just remember coming to and was like, "... hm". I couldn't do anything but observe. I must have been 1 or something.

I have vague, dissociated memories of being low to the ground, but I can't figure out the age. Some I'm close to the carpet, others I was walking.

A few scattered of my grandmother taking me on errands. Between 3-4 maybe.

Maybe 3-4, my mom must have thought I was napping. She was watching a soap opera, and there was a very rapey seen. I remember reenacting it in my head on my top bunk and getting turned on. I asked my mom later that night about why I had an erection. She told me to ask my father. I don't think he ever told me, because I thought it meant you had to pee until I was 10 or 11.

Last one that I have, I could talk, I was still using the very small plastic children's toilets. My dad was using the toilet across from me, reading the bible. He was talking about how the word of god is a two edged sword. Then he asked me a question about that. I remember the question going over my head. I asked him if the word of god made sword noises, by mimicking sword clashes of course. He said something about it being truth, which I kind of got it at the time, but it's something that stuck with me and I spent a lot of time pondering it as a child.

I have a lot of memories of dreams from when I was a kid. Nightmares in particular. Those seemed to stuck with me pretty well lol. I was into dream interpretation from a very early age, too.

Me existing... everything was orange. I wasn't aware of any sensory info except for that dull color.

Then the next memory is me playing in daycare and it goes from there.

I'm not sure if this is the oldest memory, but I remember trying to make a maze in kindergarten with cardboard boxes. This was around.. 2 or 4?

I remember having my first dream, it was me all alone down in a subway, with a spotlight on myself. That I think was when I was around 5.

The first crime I remember was, well not exactly me committing it, but a being an accomplice of a friend who stole one of those digimon egg toys from a department store. I think this was when I was 6 or 7.

And the first electric shock was in a motel close to LAX. Shocked for a full 5 seconds I think.

i'm a prize in a cereal box near you, so buy, BUY,
I think my earliest memory was when I was 3 and watched my dad go onto his carrier, my little brother was next to me in the stroller and I was very upset he was leaving again.

edit: almost forgot to mention that my older brother actually remembers the day he was born, him and my mom talked it over and the details he gave her complied with her memories of that day. stuff like the doc's full name, what he looked like (same with the nurse), layout of the room and my parents holding him.

Me being placed in a cot surrounded by porcelain dolls, and a creepy porcelain clown coming at me with his candy cane stick.

I don't know if that's real or imagined, but it's in my head.

There was a loud and dark storm that came crashing through the fields of my home on a farm, with it, a black tornado came roaring towards the house, sounding just like a freight train. I looked at it in amazement as it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. As this happened, my mother took my arm and pulled me towards the house in a panic--I followed her guiding hand as I watched the tornado roar.

I can't remember much. I guess my earliest memory was running on all fours under the table to escape the people working in kindergarten (4-5 years, maybe?). My mother told me I hit other children with a play shovel. Needless to say they all decided kindergarten wasn't my thing and took me out of it.

Oh. I also remember there was this one kid who was very rarely present, who we considered like a king because he was rarely there. Child logic, I guess. So once we built a fortress of chairs for him. (Later on it turned out he had a severe form of epilepsy).

I'm not sure if this is a real memory or if I put pieces of pictures and what I was told together but I was around 3? and I was walking through the courtyard of my home/farm in fear trying to stay clear of a rooster. I started to run when I saw it and the bird got on my head flapping it's wings and trying to take me down. My Grandmother came running with a broom swearing and hitting the rooster to keep me safe. (I was told the rooster was happily consumed during a nice family lunch ha! Ahaaa, lick-your-lips revenge)

The first memory for sure was the first day of Kindergarten. We sat in a large circle and I remember feeling all excited because my parents played up how terrific school will be. As we sat there, a few started to sniffle and the tears became contagious. I remember my lips quivering as many of the children were openly balling. I was on the verge of crying but I willed myself to keep it together. That experience seems to encapsulate a theme in my life: high expectations/ideals followed by being slapped by reality and being a stoic about it all:)

I was 2, I believe. It was noon. I'm in my bed looking to the garden trough the window. The house is silent, I wonder where my parents can be. I get down from the bed and walk around till I find mom cooking in the kitchen. I feel glad.

Then the first sensation I remember I loved is the sound of water and swimming in it. This could be even earlier.

How are you today
I remember my kindergarten pretty well. I was basically always just out playing. Often the other kids would go outside and I would just stay outside and play, and my parents tell me the staff didn't mind. I still remember the location, actually, maybe I could Google maps it... that would be cool. I remember a lot of things there. Pretty sure I theorized about ants in that place.

Preschool, I think. I pulled Derek Phan's ear and he cried like all day. It wasn't even my fault, he was being mean.

I'm trying to reach a cherry and leaning out of a stroller, then I'm falling into a bath full of (presumably cold) water (in the garden plot on the outskirts of a town).

So I most likely make it up from later stories but I seem to remember vividly the approaching darkness and some time spent in the water before I was timely rescued by my mother who happened to call it her premonition to check up on me (which I believe to be a typical post factum appealing colouration of her account of the story).

Memories are malleable structures, recalling them is much like interpreting cooking recipes or improvising music (procedural selective bias).

Yes, and it's kinda scary. No matter how good you think your memory is you can never be sure it's accurate...

I remember choking a girl.
:(
What did she do ?

My brother choke me when I was 6 or 7 because I told him he would never dare to do it. Testing his limits, I guess. 10 years later he tried to do it again as we were casually talking ( extremly weird because we were in good terms I think ) but I luckily had the reflex to choke him back. The force I putted into it slammed his head against the wall. No need to say he letted me go. And never tried again.

It's cool to see we have some really old memories here. There's a thing called '' childhood amnesia '' , basically most people forget everything before age 3, starting at 7-8 years old.
