i'd eat their brainz cuz they were broken anywayz
sorry it's that day of the month

in all sincerity, i never do anything, until it's absolutely clear that no one else is going to do it. because people are fucking morons, who will accuse me for doing whatever i'm doing wrong, even if it's right. and if i feel like i could do better, whatever someone else is about to do, i won't trust my judgement.

the person with the problem needs to establish a relationship with me, invite me in, if they wanted me to engage for them, rather than the big strong gorilla bloke who will push himself on the situation ... looking at me might be enough ...

and man, you have it with making things complicated 2ABC and what not, like in the other thread about typing :p

oh yeah, my type is non-INTP (e13, subtype lolz)

I suppose in every instance, save many people around, I would potentially drive that person to the hospital, all things being equal. There's definitely such a thing as bystander effect. Given the situation was just this hapless bloke and me, moreover, I would perhaps be more forceful in offering to drive to the hospital. What's the alternative, right? That's my INFJ answer anyway. :slashnew:

I'm not sure what you intend by this post. First, there are very many other issues to consider, some of which may be more important than anything else you've listed here. For example, did the person fall and break an arm because of some other environmental hazard? Is there ice all around underfoot? Perhaps this is just after a storm and there are downed power lines. There are too many unknowns for me to really understand how to continue. However, I will make some assumptions. First, I will assume that there is nothing else going on, that this person's fall is unrelated to any additional hazards or threats (not just including the environment, but also including things like gunmen, etc.).

Next, I have no way of knowing what you mean by "feelers around," unless, perhaps, we're at a big type-test festival and I happen to walk by a gathering of recently-tested F-types. So, I'm not sure what you mean or how I would know that. Importantly, I think my responsibility to someone injured is entirely independent of the typological circumstances of those nearby.

I am first-aid certified and so I have a responsibility to act in a way that offers aid to the victim while recognizing the autonomy of the victim to refuse medical assistance. However, since your question doesn't say so, perhaps the victim is a child, or elderly, or suffers from dementia. All of these factor into my consideration.

If there are lots of people around because I'm at a firefighters convention, I will probably step back and allow them to handle the situation because their training dwarfs my own. If I'm taking school children on an outing and I'm the only adult, then I act immediately and decisively.

I'd say more, but, I'm curious about what you're really getting at. And, I'm an INTP.

@Vrecknidj

That was basically a mystery to me too, but that detail seemed rather inconsequential, so I just heedlessly proceeded along my own lines.

maybe sentient beings, or neurotypicals, as they are called lovingly by the autistic tribe. they are easily recognized by the fact, that they are everyone outside of the deep labyrinth of the protagonist's ego. just guessing.

In all scenarios, I'd go straight to the person to help.. But I am a paramedic, so I'm comfortable helping injured people.

I imagine by feelers he means people with the F tendency instead of T. You know, those pesky people who do nothing in these situations but cry and make things worse :)

Look and make sure someone was taking care of it, if people around. Call ambulance if nothing is happening. If alone, drive them to a hospital/safe place/my basement

I haven't been trained to be cool in such situations, or even medically trained at all, so it's a given that I wouldn't know what to do and would passively expect someone else to take action(as I normally do anyway being very absent-minded). If I became aware of everyone doing nothing, I would feel compelled to act. Inspecting the injury, elevating the person, and reaching the nearest phone for emergency services would be my first instincts.

1)I don't think the feelers will impact my behavior unless someone helps the person prior than my being able to help, so this question necessarily assumes what the feelers would do, which would then affect my behavior, but otherwise, the types of people around are somewhat irrelevant
A) either call someone per the injured's wishes, or drive him/her to the hospital unless some good samaritan beat me to it or insisted; of course, I'd be hoping that someone else do this so I wouldn't have to.
B) same; but if I was the boss or had employees, I'd make an employee drive the injured to the hospital because my time is more valuable
C) I would default be the one to take care of this poor fool

2) FEELERS would generally empathize with his/her pain and want to help, no? if not, they are assholes.
A) I would get angry, tell everyone how much of assholes they are, then help the guy.
B) Same, but since it is a small office I would be yelling personal insults at the people who don't wanna help.
C) This might be expected if only a couple others

3) If I am alone then that means it is my arm that is broken? WAHHHHHHHH no why I have to break my arm?

:storks:

Ok, a couple of things were unclear.
Feelers means: F-types the way I said it. (as an extension, people ready together involved and help)
The situation is a mundane one, the person who has suffered the injury is your average joe, and there are no weird environmental factors present

Let's suppose that the victim is very hurt and that the break is damaging enough that the victim might go into shock. (Since you didn't say, I'll feel free to add this element.) Further, let's say we are in a city, suburb, or rural area that is within reasonable response time distance from emergency services.

1) (Feelers are around)
A) There are a lot of people around. -- I assess the situation, see if it's safe, see if others are at risk, and act. I give other people instructions (other people sometimes want to help, but are paralyzed because they don't know what to do), so that we get water, comfort, a 911 call placed, etc., for the victim.
B) Same as 1A.
C) Same as 1A.

2) (No one else wants to act)
A) Same as 1A. If no one else actually does respond, I do it all myself.
B) Same as 2A.
C) Same as 2A.

3) I take care of the situation.

If I have no phone, or if there is no reason to suppose that emergency services will arrive in a reasonable amount of time, if the environment is unsafe, etc., etc., then I respond to the circumstances as best I can, keeping in mind that this other person is suffering and in need of help.

I wouldn't be emotionally affected, but my better judgement would scream to go see if they were okay in pretty much every situation. If it were a big crowd I would wait until somebody else took action, but if nobody did I would take charge.

That's my inner J probably.
