animals have eyes but can't read. neither can illiterate people. i propose that linguistic consciousness allows people to read. the technology that generates this must be the brain - specifically, the part of the brain that is a key learning centre.

Can you read Aramaic?

i propose that linguistic consciousness allows people to read.
Then anyone who cannot yet read even one language, including Aramaic, Sanskrit, or Chinese, lacks linguistic consciousness.

the technology that generates this must be the brain - specifically, the part of the brain that is a key learning centre.
Then since most humans cannot read at least one language. then most humans lack the technology, and so cannot read any language.

Rather, the genetic components only confer the ability to learn how to read a specific language.

You still have to be taught how to read how to read each language, or teach yourself.

re: can you read aramaic?
stupid and irrelevant question.

re: then anyone who cannot yet read even one language lacks linguistic consciousness
no, i said linguistic consciousness ALLOWS people to read. ie. IF you are unaware of any language in all its forms, whether spoken or written or musical, THEN you cannot read. which renders the rest of your argument illogical

Then Illiterate people can read. I've known illiterate people who got taught to read, and learned to read.

For the same reason, we can't say that animals can't read, because hardly anyone even tries to teach dogs to read.

no, illiterate people can't read. dictionary definition of illiterate: unable to read or write. but they have the potential to leatn to read. dogs lack this potential. dogs also lack linguistic consciousness. illiterate people may not necessarily lack awareness that language exists

So illiterate people are unable to speak, read or write ANY language?

Even the blind can speak at least one language.
Even the deaf speak at least one language.
Even deaf-mutes can read at least one language.
Even the stupidest of people can speak at least one language.
Even the most ignorant of people can speak at least one language.
Even the wolf-boy who grew up without exposure to any human language, spoke the language of the wolves.

What living human does not speak, or read or write or sing ANY language?

So then how can any living human be illiterate?

all this just tells me that you need to look up the definition of "illiterate"

I know what the word "illiterate" means, to be "unable to read and write".

It's a linguistic term that made sense in the past.

Most people in England had an education that taught them to read and write in the Queen's English. Those who did not, could not do jobs like being a lawyer or a doctor in England or the British colonies, because they lacked the basic skills required.

Those from abroad who could read & write in their own language, but moved to England to escape war and persecution, and many natives in the colonies, were in the same position as the illiterate natives, and so were barred from being doctors, lawyers and other professionals, because they lacked the skills required to do the job.

If at any point, an illiterate person then was taught to speak, read and write the Queen's English, then they could do jobs requiring literacy in English, and then they could be a doctor or a lawyer in England, or any of the British colonies.

It was a functional definition of your current status, the same as "married" versus "single".

It conferred no implications about the brain, or mental capacity, or any kind whatsoever.

Well, not reading minds, but maybe astral projection to remote view /see what someone is doing? Frequency sounds to help your brain tune to that and then use visualization techniques. .

Zener cards, practice with them a lot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zener_cards

Practice with eyes closed, try to conjur up a glowing emerald green triangle. (That is really hard to do and will take practice). When you see it, ask permission of their spirit if you can put the image of the person you want to read inside it. Be neutral in thought and just let them show you what they are doing within that triangle. Always ask permission and get it first though. Many crystals held at the third eye will help you enhance intuition. Elestial Amethyst, Selenite held in each hand and move it over the crown chakra helps clear your energy, blue crystals like Blue Topaz, Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, nearly any blue or purple crystal held near third eye chakra is helpful, but aligning the top chakreas, heart, throat, third eye and crown is too.

There are meditations to help you develop and also certain foods help you. Almonds, Broccoli, Tamarind Drinks. Possibly mugwort. Possibly Blue Lotus/Water Lily. (I have never tried it, but it comes in a tea, I have no knowledge if these really work and do not recommend. Something may have health warnings too, so never put something in your body without due dilligence of researching first).

At 3-4pm, lay down for a short nap. Play relaxing music or the frequency sounds above. Go into the Beta brain wave state and just do this as often as you can to get into the state between sleeping and waking. Ask important questions just before you enter that nap and then wake up and journalize after 20 - 40 minutes.

_______

And as far as reading feelings, its going to be in your body sensations. Ie, look at the room you are in, then close your eyes and come inside your mind. Push everything out of your auric space with a forceful outbreath and with your hands, physically push space out around yourself. Clear, clear, clear your space until it feels good doing the same. If necessary, do some house cleaning by saying 'get out of my space' to any thought intrusions or whatever else. Bring in light and love into that space that is like an elliptical cocoon of your auric egg. Close eyes. Drop into body with your senses. Amplify your heart center, your gut center, your hearing and touch and smell senses. Ask simple questions in this state. See what your body responds with. Is the feeling expansive? Then its good. Is the body contracting/shrinking? Then don't explore it further. Is it doing nothing? Then just hold space for your question and intention and its not ready yet, ask another time. You can't demand things in this state, just ask, relax, take what comes, exit. Working with means allowing and even asking yourself to give you accurate intuitive messages and expecting it.

It would be fun to do an experiment and ask everyone to do this and paint or draw what they saw. I had some of..a shower head like flower drooping over as someone is looking up into it. The words egg and cup. Not sure who I was tuning into, but those came up.
