And now for something completely different: Harry Belafonte and Miriam Makeba (1966). I grew up with this, so this is quite the trip down nostalgia-lane....
^ discovered it only recently myself. already feels like an old friend. now i feel like one of those youtube comments "i am only twelve years old but i love this music".
good on philip glass btw heard his soundtrack for koyaanisqatsi?
i like ramones' poppier moments. to me that's where they shined for the most part. tracks like "i wanna be your boyfriend", "i wanna be well", "sheena is a punk rocker", "i don't care" and later "she talks to rainbows" and "poison heart" (their best one).
Anything off any off the Elliott Smith albums. Also the new Queens of the Stone Age album is pretty cool. Josh Homme's voice is the best in current rock.
