But here is the real question: Which Joker are you talking about?
Over the years since his introduction the Joker has been portrayed in many different ways by different writers in comics, cartoons, and movies (compare the 1950's Joker to the current one to see what I mean). Between the three times the Joker has appeared in movies (played by Cesar Romero(who also played the Joker in the 60's TV show), Jack Nicholson, and Heath Ledger) the first is different from the last two. There are also the Jokers from the different cartoons (the two Batman ones, The Brave and the Bold, and the Super Friends). There have been so many different takes on the Joker in comics that I wouldn't know where to start. They range from plain goofy to violently homicidal.
Something to think about.
Personally I think if the Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger Jokers were combined it would be the perfect Joker, an intelligent and utterly unpredictable psychopath with absolutely no redeeming characteristics.
