What are your most important principles or guidelines that you constructed using Ti to help you to live your life better
For me it is:

-There are 8 cognitive functions that makes 16 unique personality types so each person should be 1 out 16 types.

-Words and numbers do not exits, they are just invented for us to communicate more efficiently.

-You build your own future.

being slave to a familiar tyranny is more predictable and thus safer than breaking out and seeking asylum in yet unknown tyrannies. all groups are tyrannies.

stay away from all involvement with individual human beings wo are by temperament inclined to entertain any form of group, meaning social hierarchy.

a sheet of paper to draw on or computer with internet access are the closest you can get to a kingdom of heaven on earth.

dying alone in silence is better than being maimed to death while being mocked.

this is tragically beautiful somehow. (who was it that said words/ideas have more power than anything else in this world. i can't find the quote..)

some of mine are:
* There is a reality, and this is it. Even if it is simulated on a greater scale, it is real within that context and no less causal.

* The nature of reality is duality and symmetry.

* Humans describe reality using delineations, simplifications and model-building. These are all half-truths, used for our convenience, as reality has no delineations. It's an organic, chaotic fractal where everything affects the rest.

* Life is a sub-fractal in this universe, which re-emerges necessarily out of the structure of the Original fractal, and whose purpose is to evolve sentience and higher and higher levels.

There is an entire universe to be explored and we are only just scratching the surface of knowledge.

Consciousness is a product of a complex network of neural activity, which can be reduced to the laws of physics. I do not know if we will ever understand the how because we can never be truly objective where human consciousness is concerned. I'm okay with not knowing in an absolute sense, but I also want to push to limit of possibilities.

Revealed knowledge and revealed religion are cheap substitutions for knowledge about reality(as opposed to reason and scientific inquiry) and should be ignored and not taken seriously. They are to be enjoyed for the sheer pleasure of humor and their implausibility and the butt of jokes by NT snickmockery.

Authority is a human construct reinforced by false beliefs. Leaders ought to be selected democratically, but also have to have actual knowledge in their area of expertise. We are all equal in that we are all insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe. No special snowflakes.

There is no higher good. Morality isn't entirely subjective, but it is a social construct to encourage the survival of individuals within groups, some more than others. Since there isn't an objective morality imposed from above in actuality, we ought to just let people pursue their happiness and pleasure within the boundaries of reason. There is no solid, fixed line, but to be determined by compromises between the group and individuals***terms of service subject to change.

metaphysical systems purporting to crystallize universal truths based upon observed, and as empirical as possible, truths.

the fallibility is inevitable though, at any given critical juncture, because its Ti based. Te would likely be less fallible as tested against the external world...but what is the external world in essence anyways? its tied to one or more subjective perception gleaned from the five senses. which are always fallible so the system is inherently going to fail at some point in time anyways...

I have no principles to share, but I like the idea of the thread because I had recently noted that, since my Ti (my tertiary) would by now be very well developed, I should take time to reflect on what Ti means for me - how it colours my behaviour and thinking, and what key things it has taught me. I believe that I am now in the stage of working more on my Se (in the sense that I often think the symbol "Se" and force myself to be more attentive and engaged with my surroundings).

a sheet of paper to draw on or computer with internet access are the closest you can get to a kingdom of heaven on earth.

What about the mind itself? In my mind I can create all sorts of fantastical imagery and stories, and create this imagery in the blink of an eye. If I could lucid dream then I imagine that I could briefly live amongst this imagery.

-Have opinions on everything even if you know they are wrong, throughout your life you will alter and adjust them to make them more accurate and precise. Later you will be the only one who knows what you know and no one else will know what you designed in your mind.

-Who you were in the past is not who you will be in the future.

-Learn to think for yourself before learning anything else

-Life is a riddle that needs to be solved. Becoming the best version of yourself to live the best life possible is the only right solution.

-Saying that you can`t builds a wall in your mind. Do not build a maze because you will never get out of it.

@Auburn - are you talking about the quote 'The most powerful thing in the world is an idea.' by David McKay?

you beat me to the duality/symmetry thing.. however i'd add that these are the apparent basis of the whole nature of reality, which manifests in many sets of complex forms.

- reality is defined by the relationship between its constituents (or in other words, the nature of reality is geometric).

- a phenomenon is defined by the patterns which emerge from it.

- all human experience is psychological. therefore, it is important to understand the nature of the mind and its perception in order to more keenly separate subjective assumption from objective fact.

- all things in life are transient. therefore, 'tis best not to become too invested in the existence of any thing or circumstance.
