For us collegiate folk (sure secondary school too), what are you up to this semester? Nothing but easy classes or are you looking at 4 months of hell? I suppose mentioning your current major would be helpful...or not. Whatever pleases you.

Biology 101
Math 107

Easy classes, except Chem is a little rough (having taken none of the prerequisites) and my English professor is crazy. Biology 101 is a joke, and I wish I had gone straight to Bio 151 instead of listening to the counselor.

Yeah, I think counselors are to cautious when it come to what one can handle for a class. Leaving high school I thought college would have a higher caliber of students but for the most I can't believe how many people are there that really shouldn't.

This semester I have for my Biochem major:

Organic Chem II(for Scientist and Engineers)
Biochemical Analysis
General Physics II
Genetics

This horrible Humanities class that a mix of ancient history, philosophy, composition, and comparative text analysis. It involves entirely too much reading (must read the whole of The Odyssey in 4 days to get an idea of the pace) and too much qualitative analysis of passages from the text for my liking. It's a class that everyone must take as part of the core curriculum. However, I could be biased since the class spent a total of 30 minutes on the entirety of ancient Egyptian culture (a favorite of mine) and will spend the majority of the semester on ancient Greek and Roman cultures/texts.

Senior level engineering classes. They don't seem bad at all. If you understand the concepts you can pass the class.

Thank god I only have 1 year left... if I don't fail anything that is.

I hardly ever talk to counselors which is the reason why im not graduating in May- that and I procrastinated when it came time to sign up for classes.

I hated they gen eds at first. Once I started getting into the technical nitty-gritty stuff I started to look forward to them. Letting the analytical side rest for small while. I set it up so that I would have one non-engineering class in every semester. I think it went pretty well.

My major is Marketing Management and I have classes like:

Commercial calculations
Consumer behavior
Creative thinking
Presenting
English business communications
Spanish
Management and Organization
Marketing

That would be it ^.^ But they are going easy on us this semester, so our subjects are less mathematically themed.

LAAAAAAAAAAAST ONNNNNNNNNNNNNE!

-Senior Capstone Design
-Design of Mechanical Assemblies
-System Dynamics
-Senior Mechanical Engineering Laboratory
-Independent Study
-Heat Transfer
-Introduction to Manufacturing

The capstone class is being taught in conjunction with some study in the psych department that wants to learn more about problem solving, creativity, and computational creativity (the psych guy did his masters in computer science and AI), so we are also being 'studied' I guess . . .

I'm actually a physics major, but last semester was just too much. It was 5 physics theory courses, then one programming in C course, and it made me miserable... so I figured I'd take a bunch of computer/programing stuff as a break.

Working Drawings Workshop I
Construction Project Management

Last semester was also horrible for me, I had 6 very heavy classes + several related extracurricular activities and I was burning out horribly so I decided to slack off this semester. Thus only 4 classes.

The photo elective is easy as cake and lets me relax. Urbanism is good, but I'm the only person that seems to know anything and care at all, besides the teacher, and I kinda hate that. The management class is more mind numbing than a transatlantic flight, but it's only once a week. The workshop is hell because despite being easy, it is a massive time sink and my procrastinating ways don't work well with that.... in fact I'm retaking it because I failed it last semester, it was simply too much work and not enough time.
