Past, present, or future. Whether it's for fun like a hobby, or it's a business project. I wonder how many people got similar interests/projects. Forewarning, my projects are a bit odd. I list hobbies/interests first, then projects.
My hobbies/interests, in order:
Projects:
Other projects I've had I quit before starting because if you're a peasant, companies like Panasonic won't sell you the world's smallest rechargable battery (gps tracker sticky polymer bullets), and 3M won't sell their fire retardant non-conductive coolant (upgraded phone battery) although that one was due to environmental restrictions.
How to spoiler tag, if u no know:

My hobbies/interests, in order:
A nicer way to say 'Homemade Explosives' (REMAIN CALM! It's legal). Never really got around to practicing, but spent at least a year researching all the chemistry and everything. Sorta forgot about the idea when I decided I needed a remote detonator to set things off safely, and nothing on the internet was nearly as professional/quality as needed. So started my interest in electronics, diving head first into attempting to learn to build my own "mission-cirtical" wireless detonator. Obviously was a TON of learning and I had forgotten why I started before long, and instead become interested in all the things you can do/accomplish with electronics. When I finally turned 18, or 21, I think it was 21, I asked the ATF about licensing so I could finally get started with the hobby (suddenly the ATF & FBI were like wuzuuup ayoooo come chiill in our office real quick! and asked my gf if i had bombs in the apartment). I ended up sorta just dropping the hobby and saying "maybe some day when im rich" after finding out licensing requirements cost tens of thousands of dollars in land/property ownership requirements. Anyways, like I said, that sparked my next hobby...

Electronics. The never-ending void of knowledge you must learn. The tool that lets you make things happen. This "hobby" is where my projects stem from. The more you learn, ther more you add to your list of future learning. I often say "It's a complete coversion of knowledge and mental work, to power, in a financially scalable form", basically meaning if you got a good design in mind, time to get it done, AND the capital, you can do hennything. Keeping in mind though you need mechanical engineers and chemists/biology to do a lot of fancy stuff.

Aka DIY BIO, it's surprising how easy/accessible the power to edit DNA and literally "program" biological systems is. I got too much on my plate so not gonna start this up any time soon. But plan on getting into it, and when I do, making my own equipment and selling it because it's kinda ridiculous how much some stuff costs when it's easily made (nothing is easy/simple to get production ready and legally sellable tho). I wanna get a tank of jellyfish (due to them having no brain, therefore no bad ethics of experimenting on them), and make them genetically grow hair, be little floating hairballs. xD If possible, use my dna for the hair, give em names, little different colored hats, call em my children xD

I actually am a Tripoli Rocketry member, for a few years now. Never really had time/money to get certified, but when I finally do, I wanna make something like a smaller version of the falcon 9 rocket and land all the pieces. Put some AI on the guidance systems and such, launch em sideways, have RC hypersonic rockets just for lulz (would have to rent a test site/desert for that). Already asked though, against their rules (therefore the law) to launch them sideways. Would probably have to get bigger licenses or change the rules/laws to accomodate bigger goals (if i ever got that far)
Projects:
A complete overhaul of technology in the vending industry. My dad owns a small food-vending business that I used to work at. Long story short, I decided I wanna buy a feature or two, decided whats for sale is inadequate and I ought to make my own, ideas grew, years later the entire industry is just trash, toss it all out redesign it all, make a product that is just better, and easy/profitable to upgrade to. Boatloads of work both in hardware, and software. But the industry is stuck in the 80s, don't wanna go off on all the issues, but people consider it "state of the art" when a machine uses a conveyor belt to dispense your soda. Meanwhile the world has a robot dog for sale.
When I realized that previously mentioned project was gonna take forever to complete, I decided to branch off a small feature that my father's business could really benefit from, and complete just that bit sooner rather than later. Basically what I was making was intended to gain control and communications with all his machines and enable me to start working on automating the way all the product/inventory is coordinated like how much goes where and when. Also volunteered to help out a random startup that needed something similar to add BitCoin/crypto payment option to vending machines, as their own business idea. I figured helping them out I'd be able to strike a deal where I just use their product and can negotiate their fees to be low, rather than have cryptocurrency be another thing on my list of stuff to become an expert on and work on. Anyways, that explains the bitcoin look to the little device. Was like 90% done with it then family issues and life issues all hit at once and I just scrapped the entire thing. Not before taking out a 2.5 grand loan for small scale mass production equipment, which, really looking back, I really didn't need yet and knew i didn't yet. It's been a few years, still haven't used the machine, but hope to change that soon. BTW the pcb, due to collaborating with a startup, is a rushed abomination.

Project: Dual Wield Modular Flamethrower/Cryogun. Not my smartest idea, but everyone I knew at the time was financially struggling and in debt, so, I decided I oughtta invest in some new business idea (help myself financially so I can help friends/family too). Whats something I can build and sell, that I'd not mind failing to sell? Flamethrower, 100%, immidiately the answer. Finally got the excuse. It's actually a pretty decent yet exotic business to get into if you actually sell them. According to the top competitor's claims, and some knowledge about their design's real cost, they made over 1 or 2 million in profits from just 1000 sales. Only loan I could get at the time was a 2 grand amazon card lol, only parts off amazon. Eventually realized that I didn't have money to have a custom part machined (dual port dip-tubed valve) and the alternative that everyone else does (drill into the side of the tank) was just disgusting and not an option, especially considering I designed it for much higher pressures than anyone else. Might revisit this when I get out of debt (recently got a good job), was gonna have a 50-100 foot flame in each hand, put additives in the tanks, see if i can get a purple flame and a green flame or something like that, or fill one with napalm and one with liquid CO2 (propelled by nitrogen, so better than most cryoguns, longer range, far less cooling/freezing of the fuel tank as it goes meaning far less pressure drop). Was gonna be so cool lol. Probably a good thing I ran outta money (and motivation later) as I did buy a pressure washer for hydro-testing, but had no money for safety gear like a fire suit or oxygen mask and such. Hope to have money and time to revisit this project some day soon though. Really wanted to add electronics somehow, fuel level meter is the only use I could really think of though and that's not doable without custom mechanical parts too. Meanwhile global warming is the hot topic, 100% co2 emissions in one hand, thick black flaming napalm in the other, was gonna be a commercial/ad much like "Power Thirst". Twice the fuel, twice the pressure, half the price of competitors (that was the price goal, but off amazon it was like same price). Would wanna completely redesign it, instead of some dumb pressure washer guns, make a custom thrower that's much more like an iron man suit, clamped onto arms (yikes if it springs a leak, but u ded anyways then). Also really wanted to somehow strap it to my heelys (manchild and unashamed) and propel myself that way, somehow safely. Btw the tape in the pic is before I got the mounts and everything mounted to the mount mount.

Was sitting in a cabin once, looking at a bear pelt, as family is discussing trump during the election, and his wall idea. Looking at the bear pelt, it was sprawled out kinda in a way that reminded me of a video of a cat that was taxidermied over a quadcopter(drone) frame. Drew up this as a joke on how we'll keep the border secure, but the more I thought about it, the more it had to happen. The idea was they probably don't have bears down there, or not many, so to see FLYING bears with machine guns and napalm shooting out its mouth, would probably be enough to scare them away from the border walls. Would have to come after the flamethrower project of course.

This ones actually my main/lifelong project. Would be a massive explanation that'd really never do it justice. But I'm working on making a robot human. Everything from scratch, even the "computer" is an array of FPGAs (it's own massive project) to build a sort of processorless computer that's highly suited for mass amounts of paralell computation in real time, which is really great for modern AI oriented software, which the robot would be heavily reliant on. The goal is to design the body to be primarily laser cut from sheets of steel. Bearings even custom made because it uses so many it'd be insane not to invest in making them yourself. No real progress done on this, just a bunch of planning really. Gonna have money real soon, gonna buy a 3d printer or something and hopefully get the hand design down and start hooking up motors. There's like 50 stepper motors needed per hand, a few grand of motors. Gotta invest in making my own motors when a design is finalized. Hope to spark and influence/mold a bunch of upcoming world changes by strategically selling it, no biggie, totally doable. Got two models in mind, project CLAY which is the sorta semi-automated one designed to be as functional as possible, and project ASH which is designed to match biology as much as possible. Ones meant for general use as a personal terminator, the other is meant for more biological/medical use such as prosthetics, transhumanism, creating artificial life, mind-uploading, crazy stuff. Cant wait to have a CLAY robot tho, remote control it with VR and a haptic feedback suit :OOOOOOOOOOOO Go raid area 51 with a swarm of them. Also wanna get into drone swarm tech and have them sorta pop out of the chest of the robot so it has eyes everywhere when needed xD Bought like 6 tello drones recently, terrible with money. Whats neat about the robot though, is simply getting a working mechanical frame made, would be enough to use iCub's free software and start out with some advanced robot controls. Although I'd be making my own anyways. It'd have an "app store" of functionality, download some cooking program, and a program to pick up dog poop in the yard, have it do both but be unable to wash hands.

The echo suit is a planned project where I got a suit full of amazon echoes, everywhere, head to toe. And the thing plays "Echoes" by pink floyd, on repeat, nothing but the Echoes, of Echoes, on Echoes, a complete immersion into echoes. Waiting til I get into linux kernel stuff and hoping to just delete the amazon software and write my own complete custom code for the echoes. Backburner project, probably shoulda waited on buying all the amazon echoes. This is why i'm broke, homeless shelter like 2 months ago xD Looking forward to programming the surround sound and lighting of it all, especially the echoey animal noises lololol.
