I'm looking into starting a blog for INTPs and I'm curious about what topics other INTPs are interested in. If you put other in the poll, please post what it is. Thanks everyone!

Mods: Sorry for double posting, please delete my other thread, thanks.

Ah, I see. Maybe social skill sets. That's an interest of mine, just not the manipulative parts. I think us INTPs have to learn social skills differently than others do. That would be an interesting topic, thanks.

all of those poll options and virtually nothing else, except that i came around to realize that physical health is something you HAVE to worry about. and i generally wonder how many of my interests are originally just egoic worrying. prior to ego, the essential concern seems to be one with comfort, aesthetics, functionality (Si/Ne) and how they all relate to the human subject (introversion).

you would have to write about what you know something about, not what an audience of mistyped people wants to read about. especially if your audience is thinking types, not mindless people who expect nothing but entertaining strings of words.

Really? Ou. I didn't know I have "philosophy on society as a whole". What its content? And what does my country have to do with this?

Speaking of social engineering, you should read the book, "The Art of Deception" by Kevin Mitnick.

It will be next after "Social Engineering: The Art of Human Hacking", thanks. I stuck there on chapter 4 - Pretext:How to become anyone.

Where you are from just provides context for me as to your view on power. Plus, I knew you were not an English speaker and just needed an excuse to ask.

It's hard to classify. I feel like I'm not interested in anything enough to name specific things, but then again I am interested in anything that involves some level of analysis....

A very important one: how to live in a capitalist society without becoming a corporate slave. Especially how to avoid working according to fixed hours and fixed monthly salaries.

At the moment reading a book called: anthology of the pagan gods. I think its full of cool metaphoric stories that can help me find inspiration in new ways. I'm also interested in Greek mythology so u know...
As I said in another thread semiotics are awesome.

I checked everything except for "lifestyle development," as I'm not sure exactly what that is supposed to entail. With regards to the "other" option, I enjoy tinkering with computers, researching almost any field of science, lifting weights (which could count as self-improvement), and practicing gymnastics.

How to improve rational thought and memory. Which involves studying different things. From simple mnemonics to experimenting with my own models that I am currently developing.

Studying languages which involves using mnemonics and memory techniques frome the above interest.

Exercise and nutrition. Not that I am disciplined or anything, but I lost some 30 pounds in one month and some days. Now I am currently working on losing some more weight, but wanted to have a stable weight to make sure I dont lose muscle.
It is suprisingly creative work. I invent my own exercises as well as implement exercises from different exercise models. From calisthenics to weight lifting.
Its also challenging to keep your self motivated so it invovles a bit of applied psychology as well. I study anatomy and invent different exercise routines. Just different algorithms each day keep it interesting and fun. Plus I want to get ripped for vacation.
Its also little bit of physics and math. As well as load of common sense, because its easy to exercise and get injured. Lot of people get injured or exercise very inefficiently. So to keep efficiency to the max one has to be pretty smart. I dont want to exercise like a mule and get only weak results.

Edit- the exercise and nutrition interest was sparked by few things. First I was obese and tired of listing to people telling my I look like a prego. "Are you expecting twins?" sort of stuff I got fed up with lol.
Also I was living sedentary life style and the doctor told me I have high cholesterol and some lipids elevated in my blood. They gave me pills, but I refused to take them. So the only rational choice now was to get fit and change diet. SOmething doctors dont like talk about. I think the human body is one of the most impressive machines you ever get to see and we not only see it, but we wear it!
