Stripped the turkey down I cooked over the weekend. (I missed thanksgiving because I ate out with my mom and kids; so I bought a half-price turkey this week so I'd have leftovers for kicks.)

Took only about half an hour at this point, since I'd already taken off the biggest chunks. I can't say I enjoyed it, it's too tangible an activity for me and i feel like I could be doing something else more mentally interesting; but it can become a game to find all the scraps hidden under fat and whatever else on the carcass if I force it. My dad (ESTP) used to love doing it, he was the one who would pick the meat off after holiday meals.

I was kinda surprised how much there was, once I sorted through it all. I have an entire plastic container full of stock (juice, carrots, celery, onions) and another all full of dark meat, in addition to the bags of white and dark meat I had already salvaged.

At least that's done, and I can do some writing.

You see encouragement to stop.

It fills you with DETERMINATION.

Dettemination!

Some of the mastery missions in SC2 have been inducing much rage in me. Flipping the screen off in manic laughter is great fun.

Drinking coffee.

Waiting until I absolutely need to go to the bathroom to get out of my seat and go do it.

Reading about artificial neural networks, out of a brilliantly arranged, fascinating college textbook about cognitive science which I received for Christmas.

Thinking about the design of a possible scientific experiment concerning selective attention and its relationship to the syntactic and semantic structures of conversation, or if there really is such a relationship at all.

Working on college essays about the Beatles; the song "Happiness is a Warm Gun" in particular, and how much I love it. Also about my hospitalization for depression and suicidal ideation just shy of one and a half years ago.

Making posts on this website in rapid succession due to an anomalous account scramble in another.

Staying up into the obscene hours of the night so that I can talk to someone who lives on the other side of the country, for whom evening would only be approaching.

If anyone wants me to go into further detail about any of these I'd be absolutely glad; though preferably not the first two, as those are comparably boring. I have time.

Nope, in all my life I've only ever seen a handful of old people actually making coffee by the pot load...

Most people usually make each individually. Having to refill every 15 minutes is annoying as hell.. but I dont like the idea of it sitting around in a pot either...

Right now, Im stuck 'baby sitting' my friends dad.. There are four of us in the house including; my friend, her boyfriend, her dad and me. I've been up for 3 days over the course as we've played host to various friends and family..

The party has wound down to a 'close' and my two friends have only gone and stole the opportunity to go get some 'alone time'... leaving me, the walking dead, to entertain our last remaining guest.

My parents are somewhat of coffee snobs. They make a pot every morning and my father buys coffee on his breaks at work and then they make a pot when they get home from work. And Ofc they insist on grinding their own beans and all that jazz.

My mom likes tea and so do I. I am more methodical about my tea brewing process, but my mom knows exactly the kind of tea she likes.

Yea, we have the occasional brew snobs over here.. mainly from the middle and upper class. The only snobbery which we witness in the working class are mundane rivalries over whos cheap teabagz/coffee tastes better.

As long as my coffee has a kick, I dont care.

Ugh. 'Dad' is driving me bat shit crazy... I so want to vacate the room.

I imagine the argument usually ends up with one person saying "Tea!" while the other says "Coffee!"

That particular debate is a common occurence...

For me, its coffee all day - everyday, except when accompanied with food or biscuits, in which case its tea all the way.

Up alone, drinking JD & Coke.. contemplating things..

Like whether to move on to Exodus:

Or practice this new game which house mates came up with.

Why do I sit up so aimlessly at night?
