Stripped the turkey down I cooked over the weekend. (I missed thanksgiving because I ate out with my mom and kids; so I bought a half-price turkey this week so I'd have leftovers for kicks.)
Took only about half an hour at this point, since I'd already taken off the biggest chunks. I can't say I enjoyed it, it's too tangible an activity for me and i feel like I could be doing something else more mentally interesting; but it can become a game to find all the scraps hidden under fat and whatever else on the carcass if I force it. My dad (ESTP) used to love doing it, he was the one who would pick the meat off after holiday meals.
I was kinda surprised how much there was, once I sorted through it all. I have an entire plastic container full of stock (juice, carrots, celery, onions) and another all full of dark meat, in addition to the bags of white and dark meat I had already salvaged.
At least that's done, and I can do some writing.
