I am an ENFJ far from home who hath wandered into the land INTPs.

Umm lesse here, hi, how you doing?

Why am I here, I know a few INTPs and I think you can be interesting albeit physically draining at times (dat Ti!)

I will probably be more of a lurker here but thought I'd say hi anyway xD

Why are INTP's physically draining?

Also, how do you spot an ENFJ? I'm sure I've met a few but I have no idea who they are since I have zero ability to recognize ENFJ's. I think their extroversion throws me off into thinking they are S types.

Well I speak of the few intps I know. I feel drained after prolonged company with them when/if we're debating or discussing something. I can talk about the same subject to my Feeler friends and it will feel like a completely different discussion.
Most of my time I spend trying to translate my way of thinking so that my INTP understands where I am coming from. And that is usually when I feel tired :P (note this is 2-3 hour conversations+)

How to spot an ENFJ? Hm. When we meet with people we usually go out our way to make you feel comfortable, and if you're new to us its sorta like pulling your strings and watching your reaction to see what you liked most. (Kinda also why we're known to lead people on :O) I'd say anyone who can draw you out a little, there's a good chance they're ENFJ.

Hope that helps

YES! Ever felt so mentally exhausted you're tired? Also this only happens after intense debates lol. Not every day
Usually it's from, like... actually being at work and having deadlines I need to meet and stupid paperwork and such.

Try debating with a Fe user, in person or voip. It really does drain you esp. if you're not familiar with how to 'translate'. At least that is how it is for me

Mostly it's unrestrained emotions for me... being mad because you're mad... that's what gets me.

No. no no no no no no no. no.

Don't be afraid! That's a cute response though. It makes me wanna start new threads all about them feeeeels.

I find this annoying. :x
I dislike when I get emotionally involved in debates but it's hard not to do so and when it does happen I feel I'm speaking a different language. I'm getting better at controlling it though!

He says (and PersonalityJunkie) ENFJ-ENTP are the "golden couple" , but I just don't "personally" know any yet.

I can feel the happiness/Fe on every sentence you type, it's like each one should be ended in an exclamation mark.

In my experience it's like playing Fruit Ninja, their stupid babbling meets my razor sharp Ti and when I get tired of it I'll state some perspective changing concept/fact/idea that undermines their emotional motivation.

Ugh, you are right. I've been handed that before. But the INTPs I know keep it going, I think he gets a kick out of spinning me around in a circle and then pointing out all my inconsistency's .

Srsly. I was just reading a thread in the relationship section about how they envied feelers, it made me lol. Be aware, you're gonna see I FEEL a lot. (that is if I hang around also not sure how many Feelers we have on this forum)

ENTPs?! Really? I have a preconceived belief that I won't get along with them (based on description) that and I don't know of any..yet.

Also..it can be done. I can now recognise when I'm getting emotional, I don't know how to deal with it quite yet so I usually just stop talking and gather my thoughts.

Lol you are so right about ! and emoticons, I usually have to backspace what I think is excessive. (In every post I've made so far :P)

Yeah, that can be fun for awhile. Your INTP friend probably genuinely likes you otherwise he probably would have pissed you off by now to a point you wouldn't talk to him again (which would have been his goal).

One of my best friends is an ENFJ. He's a very skillful driver and very good in sports. He can read people in a way I think it's almost mystical. He's a social hypnotizer.

I have one ENFJ friend, too (and a close friend is he). He's very intelligent and outgoing, but actually rather awkward and dorky. He is borderline asexual, and suffers from diagnosed (but mild) OCD. I've never met anyone like him.

I know a lot about ENFJs. They are cute, they are amazing people. First girl I genuinely liked was an ENFJ but the problem was this: she did not like me. Then I met another one who I suspect was INFJ. She was the dream of my life. Too bad she had a BF already. We got along very very well, never I have met a girl with whom I could talk and understand each other that deeply.

And then I met another ENFJ with whom I met in some festival.(yeah, I drove to that festival because she was there.) She is great, intelligent but once again, I simply don't feel ready for any relationships because I am terrible at this stuff. She is busy also. A medical student...

So, my story basically revolves around ENFJ being my primary targets to find a relationship. But to be honest, that INFJ girl is still in my head. And probably will never dissipate.

Welcome, OP, I find your kin very interesting people. However, you drain me pretty fast and I tend to hide in the solitude of my PC or nature.

Okay, seriously not trying to be "that guy", but I really think you meant to say that INTP's are "Mentally Exhausting" instead of "Physically Exhausting". I mean both can make you tired as crap, it's just physical exhaustion is usually accompanied with soreness and sweat and stink and stuff. Where as mental exhaustion is more of just a "Oh fuck why am I so tired?" :p

Hells yes, I know one other ENFJ and we're both awkward, I think it's an odd trait to be mixed with someone who is 'supposed to be a peoples person'
