Well, I'm an INTP. I love math. I'm terrible at talking about myself. I'm oblivious to the world around me. I'm a catastrophy in relationships. People make no fucking sense anyways. And a cursory glance of this place tells me that you're all the same type of crazy as me.

I'm an INTJ, supposedly, but hello anyway.

I'm a little frightened of maths Maybe you like maths because it makes sense. I stick to science, generally. And nature, it doesn't argue with you. Although I have nearly gotten myself killed in a couple of storms. Thanks to irrational people, though, not the storms.

Don't get me wrong, I do like people, but feel frustrated by all the stuff that is driven by fear. And I guess that applies to most things, these days.

When I get too ambitious I have to remind myself that I do it because I love it, and not because of my fear of failure.

Is that why you perceive yourself to be "catastrophe" in relationships? Do you fear you'll fail? Just curious...

If this hasn't put you off, I don't know....

Either you're refusing to believe in emotional and social reasons or you're just downright lazy about observing them. And you're not terrible at talking about yourself. You're just afraid you'll sound arrogant or perhaps you're just that shy, really. Anyone can talk about themselves.

I hate math it doesn't make much sense. However, I hate talking about myself and the world is doomed anyway. Never had a girlfriend before or even a kiss, even though I badly want to. And my fear of failure is carried in all things unless I am alone.

I love math because it's always just been natural to me. Physics is a fairly close second. Nature is nice, but I'm allergic to pretty much every plant up here in the Great White North.

I only say I'm a catastrophe in relationships because of my track record. I'm sure I'll figure it out (eventually). I'm not lazy about observing people. They fascinate me because they're one of the things that make almost no sense to me. Somedays, I don't even understand me.

And I'm not sure what Dental Misarray is, but it sounds like a good reason to get braces...

INTPINFP - I used to be all doom and gloom, too. But if civilizations going down, you might as well enjoy the ride!

People don't make immediate sense. They're often inconsistent both with what they profess to believe and how they've behaved in the past. I don't believe it's laziness or intellectual arrogance. The web of cause and effect is quite complex in people, I think, and F types would appear even more so to Ts. A lot of people don't trundle along linear tracks.

And yeah, people say a lot of things that don't actually mean what the words do. They're often used to mask an emotion. I think most talk is like this - not factual but emotional communication, which is one of the reasons understanding people is difficult. People simply pick and choose different conditioned verbal templates to express an emotion, and the words used are often contradictory over time.
