So... I'm gonna be an INTJ here and attempt to steer us back on topic. You guys have wandered off with the rare, musically gifted, bovines.
Let's see if we can state our goal and intentions. Correct me if I'm wrong. I just want us to figure out what we're trying to do here before I attempt a 'summon lor' spell again.
- A 'University of INTPia' section of the forum
- so we have a place to put our library
- and (possibly, this is an idea of mine) have 'classes' of sorts where our more enlightened members would hold 'lessons' (There would be no times or anything, kind of a seminar type thing. For example, I would "teach" a 'dealing with INTJs' course. I would (occasionally) write something on INTP/INTJ relations and post it in my 'class' so that we could discuss it. Then, when I write something else, I post it too.) I had this random idea, I don't know. A lot of the threads started are to figure out what everyone else thinks of something and to discuss it, but some of them are members informing or teaching others. I though it would be interesting if we designated some people as 'experts' and stuck them in the university of INTPia.
And yes. To quote Fukyo,

Yes. Yes it is. (Except that I would never suggest this in an INTJ forum because they would adopt it all to readily and there would be someone far more qualified than me to do everything.)

Sounds good! as one of the elders in this community, I just saw so many members complaining about school, their perceived destinies etc. i can really relate, as I voiced those very same concerns decades ago
I ended up just educating my Self, as perhaps so many other INT_s educated their own Selves, I thought that a corner of this forum might provide a tool for that type of education...?
I actually am an 'expert' on a few topics and I know I can learn something from every other member of this community who, at least compared to me, is an expert in some topic..
We also could invite a few "Guest speakers" to start a thread. I have been watching threads as a new (to me) form of communication and dialogue. It almost seems to me that there is a role as a Game-wizard and/or Thread-spinner that might eventually replace the role of a traditional 'Teacher'
Seminars are the very best classes available, online or in the classroom...
Perhaps the only difficulty is providing texts for everyone. For example, I really would be interested in a seminar on Paulo Fiere's Pedagogy of the Oppressed, it is a very deep book with a multitude of implications,, but how could everyone get a copy?
Anyway I am for a "stone soup" version of whatever interested parties (few that they are ?) have to contribute I really do not have any thing specific in mind. Trial and Error works as a problem solving method...
HOWEVER, IF NOTHING ELSE - ME WANT LINKBRAWRY!

We're detonating an EMP at the arcade an hour prior to us blowing up the library. The INTPs will be confused without their arcard and wander out onto the streets through it. We shalll have successfully manipulated them into moving to the appropriate locations to witness our plan.

Self-motivation (motivating Others) would be a good seminar. On the other front we have had a number of threads concerning World Domination and the plan reached by consensus seems to be progressing nicely...

I still think this a good thread! And I still think a Link Library is a useful resource. Perhaps Ragnar can get vBulletin to install the software, they can use the facebook program, perhaps... In fact, the reason I came back to this thread was to salvage some links for my facebook page. Not only does everyone have a link library on their Wall on facebook, but on the Home page I can view all of the links posted by everyone on my friends' list. I have no excuse for ever being bored...!

More precisely a large part of my unofficial work was to bring contributions of this style about undergraduate maths and physics. Indeed I have in mind a whole plan to renew in depth the structure and contents in these matters.
I started doing so, but what I actually wrote is still much less than I had in mind to do. Moreover, most of what I wrote is only in French for now. But for those who can read French and want to learn maths and physics, you can already find an interesting initiation to these fields in my site.
In English I only published the beginning of my text on Special Relativity theory, and some headlines of my work on the foundations of mathematics : how to start mathematics from nothing (except possibly a few numbers : 0,1,2,3...), first insist on a metamathematical perspective, then only define finiteness after about 60 pages (but no set of natural numbers yet) because a lot of more essential and general tools are first introduced, that will be useful all over mathematics (especially in abstract algebra).
For more in French, just follow the links from there.
(I did it in French because it's my native language so I'm more at ease to develop and improve it many times this way; then just the last version will need to be translated into English. Some parts are now ready for translation, in case some would like to help)
As for taking over the world, there first needs to be a good IT and web programming team or network. Then, as soon as there will be a few skilled people in this field ready for action, you can refer to my subversive plans as mentioned there.

So, I'll further mention the following clues:
- If you can, worsen the educational system so as to force INTPs, geniuses and some other types of people except *STJs to drop out, with the above linked strategy in mind.
- Among these dropouts, not only develop networks of intelligence, learning, startups and jobs (without diplomas) but also dating networks, as well online as offline.
