I'm an INTP, Sun = Leo, Moon = Pisces, born in the year of the rooster, I'm the second born and apparently my planet is Mercury.

I know enough instances of people find their astrological identity to be inconsistent with their personality that I doubt their is statistical significance. For starters, if you're trying to describe astrology to someone who is interested, an interest in learning is default (if they didn't want to learn, they wouldn't be reading about astrology). Other such circumstances added to the inherent vagueness of the theory such that I can not personally accept it.

You are trying to correlate multiple systems into a coherent whole. A monumental task, at best.

Ok,I no this is weird but iv really got to no...Im an INTP,
Obviously MBTI of which there are more knowledgable people here than I who could assist you with this.
Have you read any othr the descriptions of INTP on other sites?

Aquarius,
This is your Sun sign, which in itself, says little. Generalizations about your core self. Much more depends on where in your chart the Sun is situated and what other planets aspect it.
I put little stock in Sun signs and House divisions in a chart. The planets, the major Angles (Ascendant/Descendant & M.C./I.C.), The North and South Nodes and the aspects between them are better indicators of what qualities and attributes one is.

born in the year on the horse,
Chinese astrology has little in common with either Western astronomy or MBTI. There is a completely different outlook on life and the cultural background is much different than Western.

my birth # is 1 and my day # is 6,
Numerology has its benefits, but I utilize it as a supplement ot anindividuals Astrological chart.

my planets are Saturn and Uranus
These are the Rulers of Aquarius. Saturn is the ancient ruler and Uranus is the newer. Saturn is more the ruler of Capricorn.

....they are all so much alike, they all make me.But yet, they all come from different places and mean different things.Does anybody no what im trying to say here???It all runs togeather!I think im just being confusing....but its a theory iv had for a long time now...
To take each one seperately and understand what they truly mean in their own context. Then look for common factors. The factors not so common will be more of individual choice.

Oh wow. Astrology. Should have learned to expect the unexpected here. Are you some kind of expert, Bohé?

I've read a bit about it. I don't really see the pattern in the data QuestiontheStupid provided.

Why do you put little stock in the houses?

Astrology is an ancient precursor to psychology and although it is hopelessly inaccurate people can't help but enjoy a little myth magic.

I wonder if there is a psychological need for magic, to keep the horrors of nihilism at bay.

Maybe this is why I enjoy my own nightmares; it's a fleeting escape from my logical view of reality.

Try lucid dreaming. It kicks ass.

There's always a little something to be learned from myths.

I hve studied Astrology seriously since '96 and practiced it either professionally or semi-professionally since mid '98.

I've read a bit about it. I don't really see the pattern in the data QuestiontheStupid provided.
Dividing up the different kinds of data he presented, I knew which data belonged to each category.

Why do you put little stock in the houses?
Houses are arbitrary divisions of a chart derived by time, space or a combination of both. There are approximately 13 or 14 House systems of which 4 or 5 are more popular.
Chinese astrology divides differently as does Vedic astrology.

I don't use the Astrological Signs either because they are arbitrary divisions of the constellations, which are arbitrary mythological images dependant on historical cultural myths. They are overlayed on the sky in reference to a few interconnected stars, mainly derived from the Mediterranean and Near East area. Chinese 'signs' are different, as are Vedic astrological signs, though they closely resemble Western.

I only use the planetary positions, the Ascendant and its counterpart the Descendant; the Medium Coeli, basically the highest point in the sky when one is born, and its counterpart the Imum Coeli; the North/South Nodes of the Moon; and the Vertex/AntiVertex. I use the asteroid, Chiron and the Dark Moon position, Lilith.

Astrology is an ancient precursor to psychology and although it is hopelessly inaccurate people can't help but enjoy a little myth magic.
It is quite accurate in a profile of the psyche when used properly, and the transits can be fair predictors of upcoming psychological and emotional disturbances, again, if used properly.
Astology and Astronomy were inseperable until the Renaissance. From there until the mid-1800's, they slowly split apart.

I wonder if there is a psychological need for magic, to keep the horrors of nihilism at bay.
"Art and nothing but art, we have art in order not to die of the truth."
-Nietzsche

Magic is an Art in itself, but I won't go into it.
Astrology is an Art and Science.

Maybe this is why I enjoy my own nightmares; it's a fleeting escape from my logical view of reality.

Sure we do

Very little is frightening to a logical mind but in the realm of dreams we get to explore the darkest depths of illogical possibility and feel the cold flame of horror dance in our blood. Nothing like thinking about the nature of existence or going overseas for a few days to inspire wonderfully off-beat horror that can only be found in dreams. Are you afraid?

Oh, and explain how a system based upon celestial events at our birth can interpret our psychological attributes many years later.

Oh, and explain how a system based upon celestial events at our birth can interpret our psychological attributes many years later.
By observation, analysis and interpretation, just as all of our psychological theories such as MBTI developed.
Astrology has had a much longer time of to arrive at conclusions than psychology has. Many of them were wrong in the beginning stages, just as psychology was, but by careful observation and analysis performed by many in this field over the centuries, attributes were assigned which have upheld.

The basis for Astrology is the phrase "as above, so below", which corresponds to Jungs theory of Synchronicity, "the experience of two or more events which are causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner".

One thing I won't do is defend Astrology any more. I have had my time doing this and would rather spend my time delving deeper into Astrology. I know it works from the many charts I have done for people over the years. I have spent time analysing much data, both historical and present, and arrived at my own conclusions about it, which is why I rejected the use of Signs and Houses. I know there are those who label it a pseudo-science or just plain nonsense, but it matters not to me now. In reality, I don't call it a science or an art or anything else but astrology. To categorize it is to limit it.
It is what I do because I have a talent for it and I do it well.

Very well then I will pursue it independently, but thanks for the short explanation.

So what are all the different signs and their meanings; which are relative and which are accurate?
I was born in the year of the Horse and in the sign of Taurus, since I don't know numerology here is my birth date to interpret if you want: 6th of the 5th, 1990.

Are there any similarities between the INTP typing and an astrology sign, that would make me really consider it's validity.

Sorry for the terseness. There are some personal things going on which shouldn't have crept into my answer. I guess I tend to be defensive about Astrology, which is why I ceased doing it for awhile. Many personal details come up within an Astrology session as complexes and patterns can be apparent within the inter-relations of the points in the chart.
When I do an interpretation for someone, it takes from two to three hours and usually a second session is booked by the individual for more depth.

So what are all the different signs and their meanings
The best site to read about this is Astro.com. You can also enter your birth data here and get a good summary here. Choose "Astro Click Portrait".
If you have questions or problems with the site, don't hesitate to ask me.

which are relative and which are accurate?
The Signs are all arbitrary divisions of the sky and I do not put too much stock in them as their definitions are too general for accuracy.
The angular inter-relations of the components I listed above are where I derive my observations from. The accuracy is very good and I have described aspects of a persons inner life, such as fears, needs, etc. with well-defined descriptions and interpretations. Astrology is not something to be learned quickly. It took me over a year before I was confident enough to interpret the chart of a person other than close friends and people I knew well.

I was born in the year of the Horse and in the sign of Taurus, since I don't know numerology here is my birth date to interpret if you want: 6th of the 5th, 1990.
Though I have read on Chinese astrology, it is not something I am competent enough in to comment on. Chinese astrology is more a predictive medium, as is Vedic, which is why I concentrated on Western almost exclusively as it is more psyche-based.

As far as your Taurus Sun sign, the link above would be better for a description than what I could give.

I am more an Astrologer than a Numerologer. I use Numerology as a supplement to an astrologial interpretation as it will give me another perspective, which will reinforce the astrology, and at times will lead me to something I may have missed.
To do a complete Numerological interpretation, I would require your full name and birth date, but from what you have stated, your Life Path, which is derived from your birth date, is a....
Reason for Edit: So I've edited this because it was late and I wrote down 1900 instead of 1990 and that's so obviously wrong. so here's the real Life Path:
You are a 3 Life Path.
Being as I'm an Astrologer and use Numerology as a compliment, this link is a good interpetation, but Life Path numbers, like astrological signs, are generalizations, which is why I do not use Numerology.
But this is only the Life Path. How you use or express this Life Path is delineated by the numbers from your full name.

Are there any similarities between the INTP typing and an astrology sign, that would make me really consider it's validity.
Yes. When I began to investigate MBTI, I knew my chart inside and out. Initially, I thought I was INTJ and held to that for quite a while, but there were qualities of the INTJ which 'felt wrong' and did not fit certain aspects of my chart. Case in point was my prediliction for the mystical and the occult which an INTJ would never accept as it could not be proven empirically. But INTP's are dreamers and they are seekers of more and more info to correlate. I investigated Astrology because it fascinated me and it was something new to learn. I had approached it with the same scepticism as many people do, but the more I delved into it, the more seemed to make sense to me personally and in my life.

All of my planets except Jupiter are below the Horizon in my chart and my Sun/Mercury/Pluto/Venus/Moon are clustered at the very bottom. This indicates (in general) an extremely introspective and guarded person whose main concerns are learning and delving into secrets.
This fits my INTP perfectly.

My Neptune is trined (120 deg.) my Medium Coeli (top-most point in chart) perfectly which indicates that my exterior social identity would involve mystical/spiritual/artistic/musical aspects and these would affect me deeply on an interior level and be a strong part of my life.
Again, a match to an attribute of INTP.

My Ne is indicated by a perfect sextile (60 deg) to my Ascendant from Mercury and semi-sextile (30 deg) from Uranus (...it is in between Mercury and my Asc). This would indicate that I would interact with the outside world on an intuitive basis. It also indicates an 'unusual' sense of humour.
Another match.

There is much much more, but this gives you an idea.

My astrological chart reflects me perfectly, even on some aspects of myself I wished to deny. When I went back in time in my chart, important events in my life corresponded to major transiting planets aspecting planets in my chart in distinct decipherable ways which fit the events.

Astrology is another one of our tools. If it is used incorrectly, then the results will be flawed. If utilized within its parameters with intelligence and restraint, it can be another insight into the complexities we are.

Again, I appologise for my tone in the earlier post, but we INTP's will defend our 'beliefs' strongly.:D

Been meaning to post in here for a few days.

I think that, under the circumstances, not using the houses is a pretty logical choice.
I'm going to try to follow your example and see how it reads in my chart. So far the interpretation of planet/house/sign seemed to work for me.

Let's see, tentatively speaking:

T preference= Jupiter conjunct Uranus
Ne= Mercury opposition Jupiter,
Inferior Fe= Moon square MC, Sun opposition Neptune
Introversion= Venus square Saturn

It woild be better to examine the entire chart.
What planets are below the horizon? This would indicate energies which are more introverted/personal. Mercury's position and aspects to it would indicate thinking more than Uranus. Uranus is more intuitive, lightning flashes of understanding.
Jupiter conjunct Uranus may indicate, among other energies, great enthusiasm toward something which would diminish rapidly then on to the next thing; rapid growth.
So much in a chart depends on where the planets are positioned in a chart that making assumptions on little info is tenuous at best, though Jupiter may have a great influence in your chart if it is aspected to other planets besides Uranus and Mercury. If there is a connection between Mercury and Uranus, this would alter the other two aspects greatly.

Feelings are not only the Moon. Venus and Neptune are indicators also. The Moon is more nurturing, emotional attachments, need for security and such. It also harbours some reference to the subconscious and unconscious realms of the psyche depending on chart placement.

First of I tried the: Short Report - Personal Portrait

It made sense some of it, so it's not all bad, however, some of it really shouldnt have been there. So again, it is not a complete picture but it does have soem sense.

Then I tried Astroclick portrait: I found it excellent. It fits well unlike "houses" would explain in the short personal portrait report. which is less detailed.

I am impressed.

My birthday is 16.47PM 1990 10th. september...
I have Sun Venus Mercury In Virgo,
Jupiter in Leo,
Moon in Gemini,
Pluto @ scorpio.
Both Saturn, Uranus and Neptune occupy Capricorn.

My Ascendant is in Aquarius,

all this makes for great explanations of me according to the Astroclick Portrait. Reminds me of why i like myself quite abit tbh!

From what i can tell here - there are some apparant differences, even in the same types. which MBTI does not solve by analysing your preference of type. Astrology seems to have a good grasp on it, atleast like this.

@Bohémien:
Yep, I was just beginning the exploration.
Mercury wasn't making much sense, so I left it for a while. Without the house/sign, it's simply opposing Jupiter.

Uranus is more intuitive, lightning flashes of understanding.

Thank you for this and the conjunction explanation. I'll try to remember.

Jupiter... hm. Square MC. Loads of energy. People troubles. It seems to be a good placement, all in all.

Feelings are not only the Moon. Venus and Neptune are indicators also.

How did I miss Venus? It' so there. Five little aspects.

Ah, yes. Planets below the horizon. Venus, Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus.

No wonder this is a profession. Data, data, data and sneaky interpretations. It's great!

@Gorgrim: The Astroclick's shiny. I'd read a bit on the subject but that feature got me hooked.
