Hello!!
I'm just a lonely little bag of meat, whose best friend is a constant feeling of depersonalisation.
I've got four cats, and I think that I like all of them dearly. I wish I had an octopus, though.
My interests include pretty much everything, although I've been too lazy lately to engage myself in something. Either way, I'm good at psychiatry and theology, as well as sleeping my lazy bum off and stuffing myself with food.
I thought that maybe I'll meet some people here, as it seems that I just can't make any new friends. Everyone seems so... dull?
Anyway, I love you all! Probably.

Hi!

I also want an octopus. I want to see exactly how much it can learn through simple observation. Also, I've read researchers describing their behavior as "puppy-like" when they become accustomed to someone.

I also see that you are one cat shy of your crazy-cat-lady-starter-pack, but don't worry, you'll find that fifth cat when the time comes. :D

I have two cats so I'm only half as cool as you. I'd be your friend but you'll probably find me too dull :(

I don't know that 'wither' is the accurate term for it. Death is hardly such a clean, gentle, and dignified affair as 'withering away' and the body certainly doesn't wither after death with unless it's been mummified.

Perhaps, 'rot away.'

Anyway, welcome. :rip:

@Yellow - I'd love to sit and watch it all day long. They're clever, of course, but also adorable! Those eyes... As for cats, I've had 10, but gave away 2. 4 died, and now im thinking of something else, like a bird or a crab. I've always had an affinity for crabs and fishes, but they frighten me to a degree. Dead crabs are downright scary.
@OrLevitate - Thank you!!!
@Polaris - Thanks!
@redbaron - Don't worry, you can be cooler in other aspects. I've joined the forum to talk to people, so why not? I guess it's worth a shot, even though I'm quite miserable at conversing.
@Adaire - I meant it more in the terms of soul and personality. All of us hit our downfall someday, something that will make us feel less than alive, but more than dead. May it be for a while, may be it for longer - but the damage has been done. And the withering will continue, unless there's nothing but a stranger left in us. As for death, I like to fool myself that it's a romantic concept. But rotting corpses are disgusting in a funny way and I'd certainly wouldn't like anyone to find me in such a state, with my eyeballs poking out of my sockets onto my swollen yellow face. That'd be embarassing, considering that I'm already being picked on because of my fashion sense. I think I'd make a funny sight, although morbid and vomit-inducing.
Thank you! c:

Signifying yourself as aquarius in the first post on a new forum?
I find it odd.
Everyone seems so... dull?
Okay, now I don't think posting aquarius sign was odd.

Welcome, miss Spiritual person.

Hello, you seem cool. I would love an octopus too, most radically different intelligence to ours on the planet, Awesome that a mollusc could achieve such cognitive abilities. I also like parrots because they're clever, as much as mammals. I have two budgies and they're the most impressive intelligence/size ratio I've ever seen. Their behavior is so developed yet their brain must be about the size of a thumb nail if that)

I always imagined my daemon (as in philip Pullman ones if you have read) to be a cat. A grey one.

See you around.

I have a things-that-live-in-the-water phobia. I've tried to reason my way past it, but I can't. So I keep fish as a kind of exposure therapy. My fish are good people. Crabs are only scary when they are in the water. Have you seen those mo' fo's swim? It's disturbing. And all dead things are creepy too. Just keep the fish and octopi safe from the cats! :cat:

^ would it be preferable to assume a mantle of bland normality?

at least the ones who stay know what they are getting in to.
