Understanding the INTP Role in History

People like us seem not to have a very prominent position within the historical social roles. Indeed, while we know of warring bands and artists and crafters of many tendencies, there doesn't seem to be a lot said of those of us who attempt to arrive at a clearer perception of reality as it is.

There might be philosophers whom we may esteem, but it is a tall order for us to attempt to aspire so high as Laozi and Plato. What rightful roles did mediocre philosophers play in their societies?

The Remnant

Isaiah had been very willing to take on the job — in fact, he had asked for it — but the prospect put a new face on the situation. INTP's tend to be bolts of lightning in the historical fabric of society.

Consider Albert Einstein. Clearly an INTP and he profoundly impacted science, society and fields as far as philosophy were affected by Special/General theories, and QM which he kicked off with the photoelectric effect.

Next consider Immanuel Kant. Again a profound and lasting impact on philosophy which reaches out into the subsequent development of Western society.

Those are two big easy example, there are many others. Paul Wolfwitz is an INTP pretty easily I think, and he was probably the architect of the Iraq War. Larry David is an INTP and created Seinfeld (and was the primary inspiration) and many other shows which have affected American society. Keep digging and you'll find INTP's at key influential positions and turning points all through history.
