Hi, since I've frequented a few typology based forums, I've noticed a slight pattern in these threads. In a typical intro thread, this would be the part where I profess how I've always felt like an outsider in my everyday life, and until finding this forum, felt like the Skipper without a Gilligan. I would also go on about my personal trials and tribulations potentially correlate to MBTI; I would probably even blame the fact that I sat alone at lunch for my entire school career and wet the bed until I was 37 on the fact that I'm an INTP.

In response to my previous statement, everyone would also share stories in an effort to establish some sort of common ground amongst us about how they too shared similar experiences as I, until one day they stumbled upon here and it felt like the pearly gates of heaven INTPf opened before them and illuminated their face with the blinding light of acceptance amongst a similar flock of outsiders.

Typically, this would make the user(me) feel more comfortable about introducing myself to an otherwise group of absolute strangers. I would get up from the computer, walk away, and think of this as some what of a therapeutic experience in the realm of my own personal development.

So, you might read this and say, "Who is this guy? Is he some type of sage-like, mythical being with the ability to transcend the established laws of time and space relative to our existence in this universe?", to which my answer is, No. I'm a guy just like the rest of you. I put my khakis on one leg at time like everyone else.

Please, allow me to learn the culture and norms relative to this forum, and ultimately use this knowledge to establish myself as some type of totalitarian ruler. Open your hearts to me; Feel my essence.

I like your avatar. My avatar would totally hit that.

Your avatar gaze upon mine with unpure intentions. I have a feeling our avatars would go on a date, and being that my avatar has low self-esteem, you'd convince her to stop playing coy engage in some odd form avatar on avatar intercourse. Feeling like you've gotten what you wanted, you'd promptly leave my avatar and never return her calls. It wouldn't end well.

My avatar would then consume both of your avatars within its smokey embrace, in order to put an end to the somewhat strange, deplorable, power-imbalanced physical relationship occurring.

My avatar would certainly call her back, granting that she took it up the butt and was into bondage.

Yeah, I mean, I don't wear khakis, but sometimes I sit on my bed and put my jeans on two legs at a time. It adds a little something to my morning.

Fantastic.

Really sorry about this, but I would love an explanation. I love science and math but am not extremely proficient in either one (though, I am definitely more proficient at math than science). But this is definitely science.

It's the Goldman-Hodgkin-Katz equation. It calculates the membrane potential across a cell membrane, which is important for resting potentials and action potentials in a neuron (like in my avatar). This version of the equation is calculating potassium, sodium, and chloride ion voltage difference across the membrane. R is the ideal gas constant, T is the temperature, F is Faraday's constant (coulombs per mole), and the symbols in the bracket are for ion concentrations inside and outside the membrane (and ln = natural logarithm).

When you refer to yourself as a "guy", I'm guessing that means that you are not the person in your profile picture, right?

Forget about this.

I'm not sure, but it's rather chilly.
Stigmata, it would appear from the posts you've made that you are devilishly clever. I approve.
Welcome to the forum.

I wish this was RL so I could 'tl;dr' you, because that would satirise and highlight the underlying delusion in expecting anyone to sit through and listen to all that, and establish me as the more grounded and therefore dominant person. However, 'tl;dr'ing peope on the net is passe and no longer proves anything to my benefit, which means that in being a self-centred rambling jackass, you've won. Dammit, you're good.

Note though that if you tl;dr this, I win. Which means you won't tl;dr this. I guess that means I win. Or we both win. This IS a competition, right?

This encounter can best be related to the result of when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

I like the totalitarian ruler we already have. :slashnew:

For my own private reasons I smile every time I see the word 'stigmata'. A guy I knew interchanged stigmata and stigma, but then the stigma is the female organ, so in the context he used it ('stigmata'), he actually meant anthers. Still. It was sweet of him to offer.

I will be in about 3 more surgeries and 20,000 more dollars.

Keep your penis and get breast implants - I can't imagine how much money you'd make whoring yourself out on CraigsList. If you looked like your avatar, that is. I mean, if that didn't work out for you, I'm sure you could still get some sort of Chicks-with-Dicks gig.

Not a bad idea. I always wondered how Pretty Woman would've ended had Julia Roberts been a transsexual.
