It's nice to know that we currently have 31 potential cannibals on this forum. (I will openly admit to having voted 'hell yeah!'. Hahah.

I'm still undetermined.

What if I am just feeling peckish but not really enough for a full meal?

Well, that's no skin off YOUR back... ;)

I don't think that matters all that much. the question wasn't whether you'd sit down and have a full meal of human flesh, it was just whether or not you'd be curious enough to taste it.

Hm, you'd be very surprised to know that is indeed my back. ;)
I'm actually a ... back... model ... I have a nice... back.

....Yes... I have never sounded so convincing in my life...

EDIT: On second thought, now that I've looked at that picture again... That's not my back. (Though I know for a second there I had you convinced it was)

Trying to picture what a full meal would look like... Big fucking plate.

And for desert - human brain. (INTP brains at special value)

I feel like I might have took that right over the imaginary line people don't cross over.

I've seen in History Channel (not sure, though) something about eating the brain's out of your enemies out of their skull. That's awsome :D

Haha, sounds pretty brutal; nobody would mess with a community who not only kill their enemies in warfare, but also eat their brains for brunch... Good strategy. Applause.

Nothing seems particularly appetizing about human flesh in just a taste sense, but at the same
time, nothing seems unappetizing about it in a moral sense. I probably would try it for
curiosity's sake if prepared in some special way and only with the consent of the deceased.

It tastes like pork, so I've heard >.>

Anyway once you get the skin off and the carcass butchered what you have is meat, just meat, now there's a psychological hurdle for anyone who does butchery regardless whether the meat being butchered is human or not and I imagine the first time cutting up a human body would require overcoming some natural inhibitions (anyone but a psychopath would want to be damn sure it's a cadaver) but there's surgeons who cut into living people every day with aplomb so there's no reason butchering human bodies couldn't become normalised.

Again as I said meat is just meat, any inhibition to cooking and eating human meat as opposed to any other in the the absence of health risks is simply a neurosis, so I would eat human meat just as I would eat any other, indeed I intend to make modifications to myself someday and if I have a leftover limb I wouldn't want the meat to go to waste...

Tastes like chicken? Maybe with some stuffing and cranberry sauce on the side. On the other hand hamburger style with a lots of cheese would mean too many calories.

I would think not everyone would consent especially after they're deceased. Maybe special order take out?

Edit: There are many restaurants here in New York City that specialize. So not every place you visit would have what you want. I think you would have to special order.
