Okay, okay, I made the thread already. The Lounge for a relaxed typing atmosphere.

No complaining, please. Nobody care your ego's hurt from being typed as -XXXX-. Questions and opinions are fine, of course.

My knowledge of typing are suck, I'm just lowering the standards, enabling everyone to post.

(I basically just browsed my visitor messages to find candidates).

Melkor: Some kind of adaptive feeler. And extraverted. He just seem so warm and fuzzy underneath. When he is active, he is ACTIVE. I hanged on IRC once, he entered and within one minute he had filled the entire page all by himself.

Anthile: I dunno, I just always pictured him as a dominant Fi.
He definitively uses his functions in a untraditional manner, regardless.

Vegard P: INFP. Well, Ceg said so and I agree. He just a fuzzy, little squirrel.

Words: has given me the impression that he is suppressing his dominant function. But I think it's because I got the impression he used Ti more after being "accused" of being ISTP, so I might be biased. That was like a year or two ago.

cheese: warmer than a INTP. I would think he has at least a auxiliary feeling function with some well developed lower "logic" functions.

Smooch: ENFP? Random and warm.

I actually think A.I. could be an INFJ, if it is not blasphemy to say so. That he references a lot and is generally cautious/ overly deconstructive of his own views made me think that he could have a highly developed tertiary Ti (and possibly disassociated Fe). I think we're generally caused more anxiety by our lower functions, and are more confident using our primary..

I've known several feelers who have acted T to the point they convinced themselves and others they were Ts, but then realized later in life they were an F, and they would have been offended before they realized being F isn't actually a bad thing. You can be F and rational.

Interesting. Your assessment seems to be that, since I don't act like an INFJ, I must be an INFJ? I've been told I'm an INTJ before (I think Cognisant made this most heinous of accusations) but I think this is the first time I've been called a feeler. I'm not saying you're wrong - I have severe social anxiety and atypical depression, so perhaps that would make Ti seem more 'developed' than Fe?

That being said, I'm not sure I could give an accurate guess as to others types on this forum because 1) I have not typed people often, 2) I'm not even all that knowledgeable on typology, and 3) I really haven't become close to many people around here on a personal level, spending most of my time debating with their ideas as opposed to their personalities.

Just to be controversial, I think everyone who regularly goes on the INTPf Skype is an ESFP.

So from my posting, what does it seem I am? I am sure one can gauge something, if only humor from reading textual information. At least Socionics does say something along the lines of that, since they claim there is a type that you are so unaligned with that it would be near impossible to read their material. some I'm more certain than others, less detailed=less certain sort of:

INTP-Myself, of course. Because I'm currently working on a systematic categorical arrangement of all knowledge. It's not meant to be ambitious. Most general categories include object, set of objects, properties, emergent, core property, element, sequence, ordered(falls under property). It works like: an Xbox is a videogame console but "console" is the core property and Xbox is a sub-property, so it falls under console for definition. I think it's pretty TiNeSi.

INTP-BigApplePi. Metaphors, he does a lot metaphorical, Ne'sh illustrations. Critical Questions. Argumentative but diplomatic. He's "certainty level" is also pretty moderate, which I think is related to Ti. A focus on an objective conditions of truth as oppose to own criteria. Pi symbol? calm. what else?

INTP-nil. He is argumentative, but cool-headed enough to analyze with. Like BAP. I really think it's related to TiNe because of objectivity not dependent on external nor internal configurations. Te relies on empirical and temporal conditions whilst TiNe is more on constants(Si) and fixed equations. Math for example, isn't temporal side from the probabilities. Te focuses a bit on background and statistical analysis. TiNe is straight out core logic. so yea, i think cool-headedness is related to greater objectivity, which is sought more by Ti than Te. Te is also sort of "collective perception" like laws, legality, and agreed things like the "scientific method." Sorry, It's a bit tiring to extract more of nil's details.

INTP-Jordan~. yeah, I don't see any empirical mindset supposedly present in Te(INFP?). I see a lot of internally consistent ideas that are too internally based. talks about the impossibility of logic and such.

INTP-A.I. -makes a lot of references but this is due to "uncertainty" brought by a very skeptical Ti.

Ni-Se. SpaceYeti. Clear Ni-Se with some Te(?).

xNFx-Minuend. too personable(?) i don't know.

xNFx-AlisaD. less technical(?) i don't know.

xxFP-Lobstrich. Reminds me of some other people I know who are Fi.

INTJ -Adymus Podlair lingo is too Ni.
