Rush is one of my favorites. The lyrics, the music, everything.

I first saw them in '80 (or maybe '81) and was a devotee until around 1990. Didn't listen to them much after that until about 4 years ago. A great re-discovery.

Rush is one of the few heavy metal bands that can use the word "unobtrusive" correctly in a sentence and get it to rhyme, think about it. It's great music and a little something for the brain.

Being a bass player, when I finally discovered Rush in my late teens, I got addicted fast... even got a Rickenbacker and Jazz Bass just like Geddy... spent ridiculous amounts of time nailing all those wacko bass lines...

I hadn't thought about them for some time until I was at a jam recently with the Jazz bass and someone in the audience told me my playing sounds like Geddy... I felt strangely dirty but I guess it's a compliment?

it's been years since I listened to a Rush album all the way through though. Not even sure where I'd go start again... GUP or PoW probably... will have to get them into my iPod (therefore I am) to force myself to get back into it!

Does anyone else think this verse eludes to an ENTJ more than an INTP? If not what are you're thoughts on what seems to me to be a contradiction to INTP.

BTW I love this song also, except that one part has always puzzled me, a little. I always like him, until then. I see the comparison to THE Tom Sawyer, but I cannot neccessarily identify with that part. Anyone else?

Perhaps I mistake the meaning.
