I wonder if the zodiac is really people noticing that the environment you're born in affects your personality. Maybe people born during a time period do share a collection of traits. I propose some one launches a huge study with thousands of people spanning decades to figure this out. They could do some variables like: What if you change northern/southern hemispheres? At what ages? What about people who live along the equator? What if we raised a generation of children inside with a completely controlled environment?
So many questions...
But I'll start here. This could be a very short line of investigation.
(Please make a little comment on MBTI and a few general traits, you know, for science.)

I'm most likely an xNTP (either a Ne-heavy INTP or an introverted ENTP).

My birthday was the last day of Leo for several years, but now it's the first day of Virgo (so that's what I selected in the poll). From what I recall spending a few months studying this type of astrology in my late teens, this "cusp" business means I'm supposed to be both and neither. Which is convenient, since I identify with less than half the traits of either one.

I've never left the northern hemisphere, though I've neared the equator on occasion. I was encourgaed to study astronomy and meterology as a child, but I wasn't exposed to the concept of astrology outside Bible references until I was about 12-13, if that makes a difference.


.. I just noticed that no one else answered seriously.. Dammit, see what happens when someone evokes the name of science? .. Well, fool me once...

Ah, great thread I don't ever really get what I expect and I appreciate that.
