the self and the body is a prison

perhaps what is trapped is mind and soul

maybe if we are able to jump from one body to another we are freed from the self.

True, but its how our spirit incarnates to be in earth school.
And in our dreams we can astral travel to other places.
And in our brain and heart waves we can experience different psychic skills to feel what someone else feels sometimes.

And, as long as you can let yourself experience non-dual awareness, where the ego is lost and your awareness expands
as one with the great oceans and stars and world, then there is no separation between you and world.

what is physical component. what is metaphysical component

physical is blood brain body., space
metaphysical is mind self personality soul, the intangible

the self is a container or vessel. hence a prison.
what is inside your mind blood and soul.

meaning its part of me but not necessarily me.

What Jung says is that you should play your role, knowing that it’s not you. It’s a quite different point of view. This requires individuation, separating your ego, your image of yourself, from the social role. This doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t play the role; it simply means that no matter what you choose to do in life, whether it’s to cop out or to cop in, you are playing a role, and don’t take it too damned seriously. The persona is merely the mask you’re wearing for this game.”
