Y'all weird af

You keep your weirdness all to yourself!
I could cut my tongue in half and be one step closer to my final form. Tongue splitting recently became illegal at body mod shops so its 3k at the doctor or a 10$ scalpel
half the fun would be seeing if I could tolerate the pain, cuzmomadidntraisnobich

I think my dad would disown me if I tattooed my eyes. not that I care but it would be quite a spectacle, being my dads side is very religious.
10/10 would cast fake spells on christians for fun

I'd still say you're strong though, having said that I arm wrestled a guy a few months ago who had like twice the size of my arms, but it wasn't muscle or anything. He talked himself up before that he went to the gym and then Badunk.

I found it hilarious we reached meta-irony levels and actually posting us flexing, my god Gen Z has invaded....

however from racing bikes and cycling my whole life, im confident I could just about take someones head off with a kick.

S'cool, I used to do that when I was younger though so imagined other people would contort their arms to get "swole", Our legs have way mor muscle than our arms so highly probable if you got a good kick in.

I mean I'm sure you could get contact lenses without the permanency being there. I had a fleeting idea to inject melanin into my eyes to make them green as blue eyes aren't protected by UV light, found out the procedure can't be done on developed eyes.

Having said that, you can inject babies eyes with melanin to turn brown/green. Protect your kids folks if they're genetically inferior.

If you have brown/green eyes, you can undergo surgery to remove the top layer of melanin to present the stroma (which is the colour of blue eyes based on light reflecting and the tyndall effect).

You think “sex” is a formal term? Really?
Then what about fornicate?
Coitus?
Mating?
Dalliance?
Copulation?
Carnality?
Intercourse?
Procreation?
Making love?
Being intimate?
Coupling?
Or, if you’re in a dinsey mood, Twitterpated?

Would you prefer hanky’s-panky?
“Getting it on”?
Shagging?
To bang?
Bonking?
The nasty?
Screwing?
The dance without pants?

I googled this and apparently there are multiple methods for shifting eye color. I had no idea.

I suspect the undercut haircut trend is from people being attracted to it since its the opposite of male pattern baldness. Is that a crazy jump to make?

Here to rant about an ENTP IRL that manages to drive me up a wall periodically.

All entps are different, so if you're entp do not take this to heart, do not try and argue with me, do not try and pry at who this person is... I just needed to vent.

It's like, I can say something 10 times and there is some mental block in reception of information, it's great, super, really, the "INTJ shadow" was really working out there.

I admit I have my flaws too in conversation but at least when I say something it is entirely precise and well thought out. As I grow to be more "mature" I have less and less tolerance for rambling without refinement which turns into an argument that doesn't exist, my cortisol levels go through the roof, just, spare me the agony.

I am tired of listening for 90% of the time only to have my insight ignored, he knows I'm not an "F" yet his biology expects this from me as a woman, why... Why.

I FEEL you! So much! Ugh. This is why I don't talk to dumb people, and just stare at them if they displease me. They're not worth my frustration. Just don't offer conversation points, and correct everything they say with a poker face.
This is sad, but I've noticed in the work place, there's 2 things a girl can be: 1. dumb or 2. bitch. People need to grow up.

*edit: I hope you are feeling better! I don't eat honey because it's not strictly vegan....here is a substitute I haven't tried yet: https://www.earthsfriends.com/bee-free-honee-review/

Why don't you get a better one

It still is there. It serves it's purpose of giving me extra light when I'm need it at my desk. If I had to move it though it would give me issues. I think it lasted almost 2 years, so it's not that bad for Walmart. I guess I should admit that if money weren't an issue I would probably get one next time I found myself a Walmart, but naaah. I'm not too high on the dominance hierarchy, and like I said, it serves it's purpose.

The thing is I know he isn't dumb, it's more like behavioral stubbornness. I mean, what really is the definition of dumb anyways? But that is not a bad idea - Silence. It's what I'm used to, after all. I mean I talk to him for that exact reason - To feel like my life isn't on mute. But it mostly does. Not. Pan. Out.

I've told him we're no longer doing verbal conversations because he needs to learn how to formulate his ideas via text instead of forcing me to sit there and take a massive brain dump. Don't get me wrong, I do the whole brain-dump/unloading thing to people sometimes too, I'm not perfect, but at least I begin to acknowledge my flaws and keep tabs on them.
I'm getting there, thank you! :cutewhitekitten:
Thanks also for the link, I'm adding this to the list of things I'll eat on my "reward day" i.e. the day I go off keto :)

What are your favorite foods lately?

just a concept -- do you think it is possible to reduce the brain to an algorithm?

the only way i can think of this happening is if you were to map out the brain and then simulate the whole thing. this would be very innefficient. any better ways, or speculation of weather this is possible?

Lol aren't you past the libspatting when your government made bribes in government offices legal again?

And you guys still have over 30-40% income tax.

Keep playing the left-right bingo. Watch whatever liberties and rights swept from right under you because gubbinment will change things.

Government is a fucking joke. You're playing right into their hands by responding to the rage porn and bullshit drama.

Thats a very vague way of framing it. What exactly do you mean by an algorithm? Most people who use that word usually mean heuristics. It's like saying if you can improve your vision with machine learning.

Yes you can potentially map it out and simulate it, and has been done with single neurons and neural nets of simple organisms such as an earthworm.

What's more trippier is that scientists have copied the entirety of the neural nets of a mouse brain chemically.

This becomes more tricky as your brain is just part of your overall neural net. 90% of neurons reside outside the brain, distributed all over the body.

You could simulate the brain in a very powerful computer, but that's a huge assumption. There's a lot more that we (or at least, I) dont know about the brain than the very little we do.

Even if it were possible to simulate the brain, it wouldn't make much sense to reconstruct it in the same manner that it existed in the body, for the same reason you dont see planes with feathers and flapping wings.

Also, your base reality is destroyed once you restart consciousness in a different form (unless you transfer into a synth brain, slowly teetering off of the main brain),

your consciousness is the most real thing in your existence, even the universe is up for skepticism next to it.

Every party here is some kind of liberal. The current President from the opposition party (the national liberals) has 17 running penal cases against him for various stuff and his party is bankrupt. The reason most parties here want to govern is to siphon off money for the next elections. Romania is on the brink of bankruptcy and 1/3 of the population has left the nation. (they were smart)

And you guys still have over 30-40% income tax.

46% income tax and all parties plan to raise it.

Keep playing the left-right bingo. Watch whatever liberties and rights swept from right under you because gubbinment will change things.

Its all the same garbage. Sick of them all...

I agree that democracy & government is a rather cruel joke, but ancapism is idealistic nonsense for young edgy NT males & sociopaths like McAfee. It falls apart once you try to apply it to society, mostly due to geopolitics. Large geopolitical blocks are just better at using violence, numeric advantage and the average person including me hates corporate capitalism.

I gotta know, I used to be one.

The problem with that is that we are not our brains. That is just one organ. The mind is not in the brain. Neurologists have determined that a key component of the mind is: “the emergent self-organizing process, both embodied and relational, that regulates energy and information flow within and among us.”

The consequence of this is that your mind is not merely in your brain and body, its outside of it as well. Our mind is not simply our perception of experiences, but those experiences themselves. It’s impossible to completely disentangle our subjective view of the world from our interactions.

The brain is a mere hardware component in a bigger system. Why replace it with software?

I gotta know, I used to be one.

I would've agreed with you a few years ago and youre right to a certain extent.
Geopolitics and the fact that most landmass has been claimed by some government or the other makes it an almost impossible task.

So I'm really into the idea of seasteads. Why bother fixing a broken system, just start up your own state in the middle of the ocean.

You can live by yourself (after accruing a certain level of wealth), or form a community with their own seasteads.

Plus, once you separate government from the economy through decentralized secure private cryptocurrencies for eg.. it becomes much more difficult to maintain a large nationstate.

Then an interesting situation occurs whereby all of a sudden, countries are fighting for people to immigrate to their country.

Its happened before in history as a consequence of the fall of Rome whereby a multitude of city-states existed, and the rulers of the land were careful not to piss off people with shit laws, as the first people to leave would be the skilled workers and merchants, which destabilizes their city.

Its much harder to vote with your feet due to how large nations are these days and also due to border restrictions, which has only been something recent in history.

As foe corporate capitalism, I'm with ya. Although that would be more akin to crony capitalism or corporatism. This is primarily an issue with giving government too much power and authority, and the forcible taxation of its citizens.

Capitalism by itself is still pretty shit, but it beats any other system of economy so far in existence.

Btw, free markets by definition are decentralized.

This is changing rapidly with holocracy and alternative modalities of economies afforded by new technology and the internet.

Understand your position, worked with one for a year or so, stubborn as hell about opinions he just created in response to mine, defended them to the bitter end, seemingly despite its practicality and against me as if he was protecting his kid of 3 years old. Then after the debate I just knew his opinion completely disappeared like it never existed, all that annoyance for nothing barely getting a word in before interuption.

So I'm really into the idea of seasteads. Why bother fixing a broken system, just start up your own state in the middle of the ocean.

Because you'll be resource dependant on said geopolitical powers. That means they can use the economy to control you.

Plus, once you separate government from the economy through decentralized secure private cryptocurrencies for eg.. it becomes much more difficult to maintain a large nationstate.

Which is why they will never allow it.

Then an interesting situation occurs whereby all of a sudden, countries are fighting for people to immigrate to their country.

Non-homogenous proposition nations are crime-ridden cesspools of individualism and division. The average family man would leave, the nation would crack at the first sight of a major conflict with an external power. You need much more than just laws and an economic system.

Even neural mapping isn't representative of the biology in most cases, You have to make a distinction between Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Biological Neural Networks (BNN). BNN operates using dendrites, synapses, neurons and axons. Neurons are the singular nodes, Dendrites and axons are bridges with dendrites being neural receptors and axons neural transmitters. Synapses are the location where a chemical is transmitted from one neuron to another, otherwise known as a synpatic junction.

Then you have ANN, which operates for the most part in layers: You have the input layer, 2 hidden layers and usually a discrete (0,1) to determine the computation: So layer 1 would be inputs, layer 2 would take the inputs of layer 1 and give them a corresponding weight, unlike BNN where where synapses are strengthened/weakened, in an ANN we use the hidden layer and weights to simulate this process of reinforcement/deselection. The nodes in layer two can be be connected to 9 nodes (Ratio of 1:9), given a weight, then layer 3 has the same nodes as layer 2, the values are put through again with an associated weight and then finally you reach layer 4, where the output is predicted. (That's enough to explain an analogy),

So as you can see, representing Biological neural networks is quite difficult, we haven't had true representation as much as we've created models that simulate the brain. Creating a computer as daddychaos said sensitive to the billions of biochemical processes in the brain, nevermind the body, is just insane to even map and ruins the purpose of a computer, which is it's a logical binary simplification of 1s and 0s, compared to the transmutation, atomic necessity for x molecule and so on. On this precedent I don't think we'll get an AGI, which is really what you're describing given an accurate Neural network, for a long, long time. AGI will be a long-field away, mainly because our brain has been designed over millions of years, most of our cognitive faculties like vision, pattern recognition, depth perception, being able to pinpoint the origin of a sound, are all very complex cognitive behaviours for a machine to even emulate. AI does good with pattern recognition now, but let's say you had an image of a cow but put a red circle on its stomach from microsoft paint, and a green circle on it's hooves, it cannot disambiguate the layers of the image with accuracy, while any of us will be able to eliminate the red/green circle from our representation and understand it is indeed, a cow.
