Hmm, my user name is complicated. I thought it just sounded good but there are layers in there: the tone of esurient definitely giving a more intense vibe, the figurative interplay between the meanings of "hungry" and "companion," the connections of fere and travelling, and the clash of a Latin based word and an old English based word. Way to go subconscious. (And way to suck google. I am spelling them right.)
Why do so many good sounding words have inconvenient connotations?

If a dog suddenly saw color, wouldn't they just not really do anything anymore? Wouldn't they just laze around and marvel at how beautiful everything is, content to just absorb it visually? Not that they do much anyway.

My ex just posted this and I find myself wondering why I ignored the Staunch clinging to authority (Roman Catholic) and belief in absurdly unproven phenomena: Reiki, the Amino acid cure for cancer, and generally ignoring basic science for trendy movements ("Butter made from raw milk isn't bad for you!" and "frying in olive oil produces toxins that cause cancer blah blah blah." were some common ones. But seriously, it was like her family would add bread to their butter. Gross.)
But really? hair is an extension of the nervous system on the outside? I would like to think this was a joke...

Also I'd really like to not have to get up all the time to pee. I wonder how much a catheter would hurt...

Could be. They already study hair to find out if the person is schizophrenic or autistic. And claim hair gives good biomarkers. That should be quite a bit further down the line then just heightened sensitivity.

What the hell am I doing. I'm never going to be able to pass all those classes.

Why the hell am I finding chemistry so interesting right now? I used to hate chemistry. Has that changed? Why would that change? And why would I confine myself by thinking, "Oh, I don't like chemistry because I never have before, even though I want to learn about it now." I'm blowing like $100 on stuff I don't need.

That fucking proof looks terrible. I don't understand how to reduce the pixelation when it's already exactly the right size and resolution and they won't take a different size. How did this go so wrong when it looks so great on screen... it looks like someone ran out of inkjet ink and has one contrast setting on... "paint" or something. That's it- it looks like someone stuck a fucking instagram filter on a picture of a pile of paperwork. Whywhywhywhywhy Am I going to get that stuff done? Of course I will, because I have to. I don't know how to smooth it out in an attractive manner. Is simpler always better for commercial endeavors?

I can't finish any of my ideas.

Why can't I remember what I read...

By Christ I want to have already mastered sculpey and sculpt something and copper-foil it and know how to bake it so that I don't have to superglue shit back on to it... why doesn't anyone sell what I need? Why can't I make what I want to and make money off of that? I don't want to work with or for anyone else, even if I do think they are awesome.

LOL! Thanks. This stuff wasn't so bad though... I have time to fix these problems. I just need to roll around in my drama every now and then. :D The real drama will happen in late July, but the worst of this month is definitely forcing myself to wake up too early. I still can't believe it's not an INTP thing...

I've been meaning to kill and eat a squirrel for a potential side project that I have proposed but haven't been able to do so yet. Instead I've recently seen a couple dead ones, I'd rather catch a fresh one and cook it though. Seeing them like this sort of makes me want to quit it. It gets super hot here so I think they are dying from heat exhaustion or respiratory failure?

By itself, only one person. In gravy, you can stretch it out to serve a few more. It is nice knowing that your squirrel is cleaner and better treated than any chickens from the store were.

You've got a good point there. There is at least one "you kill it" butcher shop for every 1000 people down here. If I can ever get beyond my own cultural aversion to strange meats (I can barely stomach eating the "normal" ones sometimes), I want to give it a try. It's got to be healthier than the discount meat they sell in grocery stores.
