the goal of life is aiming or attaining for self perfection

that is the purpose of training, and studying, and practicing

self imrprovment is evolution towards a stage we call perfect and cant improve anymore, or improving makes no difference.

it sounds strange, but why do we practice, and train, and hon our skills.

i try working a sales job, and when I greet people I get insulted or ignored.

so i inquire myself, what is the point of doing this, and i realize its all for self rather than for other people. other people will continue to insult and ignore you, but your skills improve as you try.

perfection requires seeing the imperfect.
correcting them by a slight push against resistance.
A disturbance dealt with by keeping balance.
become as balanced as possible.
keep your core stable.
let love come in.

A fucking black hole
the goal of life is aiming or attaining for self perfection
Not in most cases. In most cases it is either about status quo retention or satisfaction or some ultimate ending.
that is the purpose of training, and studying, and practicing
Most people are very practical about studying and learning because they are not particularly bent towards collecting information for information's sake. Everybody has their interests but not many have their interest as something that helps in living life more efficiently. For eg. In my father's gen, keeping a track of celeb's life was quite a common thing. People used to engage in debates about celebs and their action and their life. While this serves as a social function, it is and it ends there.
self imrprovment is evolution towards a stage we call perfect and cant improve anymore, or improving makes no difference.
Self-improvement mostly happens for the purpose of accommodating a more complex and demanding task. Therefore, in most cases, self-improvement is rather unconscious in nature.

fuck , you can look at the photos of models and beauty for women.
we all have some kind of subjective self perfection to strife for. thats why people and athtletes work out 5 to 6 hrs a day. or hitting the gym, or become competent at work.
its all for something.
or a chess player who plays 10-50 games a day everyday.
Evolution makes things deadlier, sillier and more perverted.
Cog, evolution does not always move towards a positive direction.

there are plenty of evolutionary failures to list

Is this specifically in regards to humans?

I ask because I believe all living things share the same goal. Reproduction or replication. Everything else is just a means towards that end. Maybe it could be said that humans have extra goals but they aren't the goals of life.

"the goal of life is self perfection"

I mean, if you take it literally then yea, life moves towards being the absolute best it can be at maximizing living (being on a planet where negentropy may exist in abundance (evolution)). In a personal sense it does not have to be the goal of your life (as though a "goal"(I don't feel like concretely defining my use) is already preset into humanity by nature of being human /s/s ). I would say that the vast majority of people see, whether consciously or not, self perfection as the goal (note human kind's obsession with making and praising idols and gods (not to mention existence of hierarchies)) but those with mental illness* may not always see this as the ultimate goal.

I made a lot of logical jumps and to come to these conclusions and some terms' definitions are slightly modified in my explanation (most notably: life, living, see(I guess It needs it: kinda a dumb use but... "see" ~= moves towards), consciously, goal, and *mental illness) but i'm not in the mood to write an essay.

People seek potential.
Potential is however always merely abstract value until the moment that potential turns into actual value.
That is why actual value is often more important than possible potential, but it is important to seek potential, but being perfect does not exist, until you have some frame of reference know what you really want which arguably be the real meaning of life.
Good looking people are usually also healthy hence why we like good looking people and value them. The way we value them differs from culture to culture, but they represent potential. Good looking men are those that can have the sperm with healthy genes and good looking females are the ones that have the ability to have the healthy children and this is primiarily decided by evolution.
Intelligence is considered important, because we live in a world where intelligence is the potential to solve complicated problems. Of course the only intelligence that matters in the end is the one that does solve the problems not the one we talk about or look for, but the actual ability to help yourself and others.
Social skills worth nothing if it means you end being a cult leader and suiciding everyone although maybe everyone for brief moment might be happy, but they do mean a lot if it means you can pull people towards better life.
So overall there are million things we tend to value and think are perfect, but they are really going to be of real life value if they help you or people.
So for example some people might not be the most handsome, but they actually might not end up having liver cancer and be healthy all their life.
There might be people who are not that smart, but they master some skill and in life create a value and help so many people.
There are people who might not be well liked or popular, or perfect people, but actually help build a better community, even though we might idolize people who never did anything for us ever.

The goal of life is discovering the answer.

Maybe the answer is sentient.

If that's true, then I feel sorry for those that achieve self-perfection, for they have nothing to live for.
