I thought of the difference between an INFP and ISFP today, the first has emotions that lead to ideas (whereas ENFP gets ideas from the environment that triggers emotions), and the second has emotions that draw into themselves the need to attach to nearby stimulus (Whereas the ESFP gets stimulated and this triggers emotions, in some cases creating addictions).

As the offset, Fe people absorb the influence of other's emotions. ISFJ with Si as the dom function takes in what others say is important and makes it their main value system. Si is settled meaning it does not fast past or require overstimulation like Se. Si requires self to be calm safe and secure. My mother wanted to be a housewife growing up, she had three kids and watched Little House on the Prairie. Congruentlly ESFJ finds stability by being with others as much as possible.

The INFJ has Ni - and as the function most opposite to Si it requires ideas to pop out of nowhere. This makes Ni abstract and Si concrete. Ne absorbs ideas whereas Ni generates ideas from within. So INFJ becomes a person who takes other's values and generates ideas about them. In effect, the INFJ becomes other people. This is similar to ENFJ but ENFJ are less secluded and will express the need to be with others to be those people.

Now with Ti and Te, the corollaries to Fi and Fe - Thinking in the introverted sense requires more and more fleshing out of all tangential reasons for things. No stone is left unturned. The conjugate of Ti being Te, it must absorb all it can from the environment to be satisfied with what it is trying to discover empirically.

INTP then goes about looking for ways possible to think of something and by Ne get more information elaborating on it all inside their heads. ENTPs like to discover more and happen to have quick Ti moments making them seem to know extensively about things where they may just have formulated an answer to what they have already absorbed.

ISTP has Ti and Se meaning they contemplate details in extraordinary length. They often are into hard designs of things for this reason, where the ESTP feels the need to make explicit such design of systems in a more social way, examining everything and everyone for a way to get things done.

The ISTJ making its way to a rational study of the world is different from the INTJ in that they are satisfied with all things as they are as long as they can keep a steady pace with learning things. The INTJ has so many ideas that when it comes to Te they cannot just confirm one idea at a time, they must do all ideas at once. The ISTJ having Ne inferior likes ideas, makes them happy to explore but the INTJ must gravitate to their core ideas, what is valuable to them most of all. The big picture they dedicate their life to.

ESTJ will make sure that what they want to know grants them the most stability. They only care that what is given will have an end result in the practical sense. ISTJ happens to be steady already making fewer demands on others to get things done. The ENTJ will be the same but they can latch onto and focus better than the INTJ in completing goals where the INTJ deviates yet ENTJ may not have a main life goal but be good at execution.

Interesting breakdown! I always find it fascinating how each type processes emotions and ideas differently. It's cool to see how introverted and extroverted functions interact. Do you have any personal experiences with these dynamics?

Interesting breakdown! I always find it fascinating how each type processes emotions and ideas differently. It's cool to see how introverted and extroverted functions interact. Do you have any personal experiences with these dynamics?

The few types I know about I have not seen them interacting together.

In a matrix, it would be 16x16 or 256 personal one-on-one interactions.

I am not able to think in those terms yet. I barely understand types individually which took me 14 years because of all the noise out there about them and my lack of social interaction in the world.

I was interested in the functions at age 23 in 2010 but Carl Jung was confusing.

As to my best knowledge of functions currently:

Ti is in their head allot like the stature of the thinker.

Te is more empirical, testing things out, and less likely to branch out in tee searches if solutions are immediately found.

Fi has intense emotions but can use them for many things, depending on the level they are in on the function stack, that is to say they can evaluate things on a personal level.

Fe is calm so more objective about what others like and dislike. emotion is less interfering in their lives.

Si is the autonomic nervous system or everything in the subcortical areas of the body. (but also attached to the Insula cortex)

Se just sees hears tastes smells and touches everything with high resolution, Se also detects motion.

Ni balances brainwaves, is aware of both sides of the brain and I believe it is located in the anterior cingulate cortex.

Ne associates things together, everything connected to everything else in the external world of ideas.

-

After knowing what the functions are I am working on seeing them in people in their function stack. Later, I will learn the types interacting with other types.

An INTP may just think of all the combinations, but being INTJ I need to see them in the real world which takes me a long time. empiricism, that is, is observation to an extent.
