How do you other intp's deal with days?

Some specific relative properties

- The sun - "Too much exposure"
- "Productive" people everywhere
- Sociologically induced pressure to do something

Days just suck, around 7 when the sun is coming down, and people are starting to clear home to sleep i start to wake up and feel so much better. Curious if the mbti results may constitute a factor.

How to become productive at night so to not have to be up during days?

Currently I'm a CS major and i don't think i can do a work week while not suffering some measure of depression specifically due to days draining me immensly. I can't stand being around people day after day that expect me to "share" my thoughts with them(Thinking Is NOT Fast and not that much has changed since yesterday...really( your "current" event , cyclical)).
So if there are any other mature intp's that found a niche to get through life without the monday through friday 9-5 work week, specifically in the field i'm pursuing( and whoever else cares to cast), a post with some methods or direction would be appreciated.

A 9-5 work week isn't mutually exclusive to pernoctation. You could sleep from 5 until midnight.

I've found that walls tend to do a good job of blocking both the sun and people. Do you have access to any?

I love the sun
I love the productive quality that people have
Every positive pressure that makes me free and active, I welcome

I prefer sunny and cold days to cold starry nights.

You will not be as productive when you deny your natural cycle of day and night.
Another thing is that you will not be as productive if you don't excercise enough physically and have social activity that are both important for your well-being.

Cover your curtains so that the illumination levels stay the same through the day and night, creating a cave-like enviroment. This way you will become less and less reliant on the light cycles and you will be able to sleep more easily during the day and work at night.

Drink tea/coffe other stimulants, excercise, socialise, eat properly (good diet), have enough oxygen in the room, good temperature for your body.

Living during the night will be sub-optimal anyway, but if you actually improve on what you previously neglected, you are very likely to see a great change for the better.

Not trying to start anything, just expressing my views; Blarraun's post struck me as mildly preachy. Sorry, dude, just calling it like I see it. Specifically, you sharing your views on the sun, people, and daytime in general without any provocation whatsoever, followed by your minor disparaging of the nocturnal lifestyle. Again, just expressing my personal views. I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything.
On topic, I don't see any reason you couldn't get a night-shift job in the computer industry. If something happens to someone's computer, they want it fixed ASAP, which creates a larger demand for night shift computer techs than what you would find in other industries. Your best bet would probably be to look for a night shift position in the internal tech support team of some corporation. Corporations operate 24/7 and computers are central to their operation.

- I only like the 5-7 AM and the 5-6 PM sun. Any other time is too harsh on the skin and the eyes.
- I don't mind talking to people especially since sharing each other's knowledge is part of my job.
- Sociological pressures are fine but I really feel better if I do the work because I know it's for my own interests.

If you really think that living during the night is the right lifestyle for you then you still need adequate sleep during the day. I've done both night and day working days and I must admit that days aren't that bad as long as you have proper ventilation and temperature controls.

How strange. I think he made excellent points in an effort to be of service by weighing in some informative points.

I was gonna reply to OP by suggesting that it is unhealthy to upturn your circadian rhythm. if I recall correctly, I read about scientific studies that link certain diseases to having this less natural pattern.

In that case, why be passive-aggressive? :-) It always amazes me how people go out of their way to make sure someone else understand they mean so little by what they say.

But really. Is it not better to have a normal healthy daily cycle and develop those pesky inferior sides or whatever and learn to deal with people rather than steal away in the dark, skulking around suspiciously, peering into the dark chambers of the meek, slightly drooling, limping from shadow to shadow, afraid even of the moon, while in the distant a black dog howls a warning to the restless and the wicked, that he is on guard against intruders?
