It seems so much easier to talk online. In any form, forum/chat, it is many times easier to say what I want to. Is this true for anyone else here?
The incredibly sad fact is - online or not, but I cannot step over the shyness, perhaps only the level of shy becomes slightly lower as I my mouth suddenly does not drop shut.
there's just so many nuances of the body that are IMPORTANT, dammit, when it comes to communication, that are simply lost when you enter a textual medium. it's just... not as interesting, and much more prone to misunderstandings.
I think it the other way around. Here you can make use of pictures, videos or smilies to give a clear understanding of what you think, whilst out there in the world you only have petty words and halfhearted facial expressions at your disposal.
So when can we have a live video chat session for this forum?![]()

I find that other people are far more worried about people judging me than I am. I don't care how people think of me, so long as it's true. Which makes being in the Army difficult, because I actually have to put effort into not offending people. It's part of the job.ya because your not worried about people judging you
