Other people's small worries. I care when things go bad, I don't care about the house not being clean enough when people come over... Rant about people wondering if their crush likes them or not, etc.

and reality television.

Depends on the reality TV. The popular stuff for sure, but I like Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs, the logging shows and the like. It's interesting to learn how these people get their jobs done.

Personally I think we should have 'no holds' barred drugs and robotic augmentation in sports as their own competition.

I want to see the 100 metre sprint composed of people firing lazers at their opponents then travelling so fast they break the sound barrier and then collapsing in a pile of goo as they cross the finish line because their body can't survive the stress.

That would be much more entertaining.

It might be interesting to give the athletes random pills and let them have at it. :borg:

Watching Tom Brady or Sidney Crosby collapse and become senselessly massacred on the field or rink or whatever the fuck thanks to Quaaludes or Xanax might be watchable.

Why not trot out retired players too! Or make golfers linemen!? :elephant:

Perhaps consider assimilating the fans into the NFL action as well. They feel left out. Enough of that pansy fantasy football stuff.

I would also like to see hockey sticks in the NHL replaced with scythes. :D

Politics, political contests, political correctness, authority, authority figures, sports, Hollywood, lovely dresses and beautiful tuxedos, E-gossip, E-appearances, E-rat races.

But that's just one INTP's opinion.

God! It JUST hit me what FTW meant! I kept meaning to Google it and I realized and I really don't care that much... but looking at it in its different contexts, I see now!

Anyhoo, things INTP's don't care about (besides made up abbreviations)

... being constantly on time or worse, early.... I always make it a point not to be too on time for menial events because I feel like the relative tardiness isn't creating any life-altering changes. Sure, I'm on time for flights or other trips that I don't control, "once in a lifetime" type events like graduations or other ceremonies, but work, school, going to a party or a friend's house or any other every day task... if I feel like it...

Being on time; what other people think about me based on my appearance; appearance in general; reality TV; sport; celebrity culture; appearing interesting in a superficial way; being noticed by anyone.

My Fe darkside isn't strong enough to put me in the centre of attention, but it sure wants me to feel noticed from time to time. However, nobody really cares about everything my mind throws at the world.

However, being on time is probably the most accurate thing I don't give a fuck about so far yet. My friends try to have me go to meetings 15 minutes in advance, so i'll only be 15 minutes late. Obviously, when I notice, I end up being half an hour late regardless.

my appearance, others' appearances (to a degree), my room's cleanliness, pandering to people I don't like, being serious, doing chores immediately after I've been made aware of their necessity, washing clothes in between wearing it (not that I just wear clothes without washing them, but if there hasn't been time to or whatever, then I won't worry about it), most forms of pop culture, most TV programs (Community, QI, and Game of Thrones are about the only things I watch (I'm also starting to get into Breaking Bad)), radio, human relationships, gossip, cars, girls, food, art, religion, celebrities, money, houses.

A few things I DO care about: Pens (gel pens, to be exact), eyes, sleep, learning, puzzles.

I think this would be much easier if we listed the things we DID care about, I mean for me that only consists of reading, psychology (cause people are hilarious), and human interaction every couple of days... Ok every couple of weeks. I think that about covers things I like.

High self monitors rankle me more. ;)

Maybe high self monitoring is connected to Fe.

People concerned with their expressive self-presentation (see impression management) tend to closely monitor themselves in order to ensure appropriate or desired public appearances. People who closely monitor themselves are categorized as high self-monitors and often behave in a manner that is highly responsive to social cues and their situational context.
To a lesser extent, low self monitoring might correlate with Fi.

Conversely, low self-monitors do not participate, to the same degree, in expressive control and do not share similar concern for situational appropriateness. Low self-monitors tend to exhibit expressive controls congruent with their own internal states; i.e. beliefs, attitudes, and dispositions regardless of social circumstance.

Speak for yourself. Abbreviations get things done with fewer words. Fewer words are always better.

Fitting in

I care about fitting in, in as much that blending in in a boring way keeps people from asking me annoying questions.

Edit : Or maybe that's my sleepy, uninterested facial expression...

>don't we all?
We don't care about attention. Tho I must admit, I do have fantasies of being in the spotlight... Imagine you could show the masses what their brain was truly capable of? (Nevermind, I need mindless people to uphold my materialistic standards.)

Also, Welcome :elephant:

I know it falls under smalltalk, but often I really hate everything that goes along the lines of :

'Hey how're you?'
'Oh my god it's been so long, how've you been'
-something's happened- 'Are you ok?'
'How was your day'
Everything else among these lines.

I mean, for one, I honestly have to remind myself it's polite and expected I ask the same question in return, after saying a dull 'good' regardless of my inner state. I dislike having to remind myself to ask it, simply because it reminds me of how little I care.
And obviously, it's such a giant waste of time. Lets be honest, I get asked the question by literally half the people I meet on a day, and if one of them genuinly cares and is trustworthy enough to talk to, that'd be a good day. Social convention... /rant

There's a very short list of things I do care about and a long list of the things I don't but I'll try to condense it to the big stuff.

Could really care less about: Most TV programs, Small talk, Strict rules, stupid procedures, AUTHORITY (which sometimes gets me into trouble), Self monitors, which fast food place to eat each night, social networking sites, outdated traditions, conservative people, cultural values, and useless opinions.

I would add a lot more but obviously I don't care enough about those things so much so that they don't even cross my mind. Just know that I don't care about them.

I kind of don't care about the fact that I don't care about stuff. I mean, there is stuff I know I'm supposed to care about and I start to feel bad because I don't, and then I just stop feeling bad because there is something more important on my mind.

This one made me laugh because it's so true. And people get so offended when you tell them you think their drama is unnecessary and stupid.

Saying "Bless you" when people sneeze, etc. I find it amusing that people require you to "bless" them when they sneeze. It just seems incredibly pointless.

I have read that this habit descended from the Medieval era when one of the many superstitions floating around was that the soul was susceptible to demonic attack when a sneeze took place. But alas, there are many such proposed explanations for the etymology of this idiom and it seems that none of them are conclusively true.
